Best cat litter product. It doesn't stick to the bottom of the litterbox and become a clay blob. It's very lightweight and easy to use compared to any bagged litter. It smells good and all of my cats have used it just fine since they were kittens. I recommend this brand for non-clumping litter! I haven't tried any other litter from them, so I can't say if the other types are the same.

Back Saver!!

I can not believe how much easier this is to lift, dump....then scoop, and dump into trash can! I have been buying the regular Tidy Cats clumping litter for years, and broke down and tried the light-weight after one of our rescue kitties got sick and was tickling like crazy on his meds. I was changing out the litter every couple days, and the regulars clumping litter was super heavy when wet because he was drinking alot more on his meds. Needless to say, the switch to light-weight clumping litter was a glorious thing! HUGE difference in weight especially with the amount of urinary going into the litter. Saved my back, knees and shoulder alot!

Also, Love, Love, Love the crisp clean fresh scent. Just smells like cool, clean air on a nice Early Spring Day...nothing drowning in overdone florals.

Tidy Cats Lightweight Clumping kitty litter

I have five indoor cats, so finding a litter that actually works is a must. Tidy Cats Lightweight 24/7 is a lifesaver. It controls odors beautifully and I don't smell the litter box in my house at all. Plus, since it's lightweight, it is so much easier for me to carry and pour.

Works great for a multi cat household

It has a very pleasant, soft fragrance and although I am allergic to a lot of fragrance this does not bother me at all. it totally eliminates any odor - when the cats bury what they did, some cats don't. :(  There is no dust at all. I'm so glad I tried it.

The cat litter is fine, I just have trouble getting the lid open. I tried pliers and vice grips to  pull the pull-tab off with little success, I will have to wait for help getting the bucket open before I can use it.  This has happened before. I will try a different style next time.

I was surprised, as I have been a fan of Tidy Cat in the past. This product becomes incredibly pasty like many of the less expensive brands. I find that I am going through the box much faster than I have with other products. I also have to scoop the litter box more frequently to avoid the pasty texture.

It is lighter than regular cat litter, but it also sticks to paws and fur! My house has hardwood floors, and I am constantly, from 2 to 3 times a day sweeping up cat litter  on furniture,  carpets  and other flooring!  would not recommend this. The weight of the container  is not worth the extra cleanup.!

Horrible %26 strong smell. I had to open my windows because it was so strong %26 giving me a violent headache %26 clogging up my nose. I can only imagine what my cats thought since they have a better sense of smell. They won't use the box I put it in either, they all piled into the box with the unscented litter. I will stick with that one. I will never buy the scented ones again.

Horrible scrnt

I've been purchasing the 17lb bins of Tidy Cats Lightweight Litter for years. The Red lid, the Gray lid, the Blue lid etc. Never had an issue... Til last 6 months or so. Go through a bin every few months. The last 3 bins I've purchased have not been the same "formula". It's like cement  when cat urinates or a very solid clay-like material that spreads out all over the bottom of litter box. Awful!! My cat literally had a physical mid summer and is fine, so it's not her urine! Switched to something else just to see if it was the litter itself and sure enough it's the Tidy Cats Litter that's the issue. I've switched brands and will not be purchasing this brand ever again.

Tidy Cats Changed The Formula

As I stated in the return yesterday, this is typically a terrific product: very low dust, darker, and heartier consistency. This order, its nothing but dust. Almost a powder -very unhealthy for my 2 cats, and me. I'm sure this is just a "one-off," and the replacement will be fine.
