This is the first rice flour I ever tried. Since I didn't have anything to compare to I thought its smell and taste was normal. However, it was too present in all recipes I tried: peanut butter cookies, crepes, bread. Everything had that strong, not bad but unpleasant flavor.
It was bugging me so I ended up buying rice flour from a different brand to check if it was a matter of rice flour or the brand, and the difference is huge. The new one is obviously not wheat flour, but it is almost tasteless. I did pancakes and bread with it and there is no weird aftertaste. I definitely do NOT recomment this flour.

Do not try - Weird flavor in all your recipes

I have never written a grocery review but this product was so horrible, I felt obligated to warn others. I decided to try this product since it was  cheaper than the other rice flour brand that is normally available in East Asian stores and at Walmart. Unlike the other brand, it has a strange flavour and despite increasing the almond extract to cover the smell, I had to throw the dessert out. It also did not cook properly and since the product does not list its ingredients, I suspect it has other fillers that are not rice

Do not buy this product

It ruined my rice cake recipe, I tried using this product twice because I was thinking that there was something wrong with my procedure and the result is similar with first one. Walmart must STOP selling this product. If there is a rating lower than ONE STAR, that will be my rating.

Worst Rice Flour Ever!!!

usually i do not waste my time for reviews, bit this product is such a DISASTER that I could not puss by. Smells like some sort of medicine, no clue what are extra ingredients added. IGNORE 5 Star rating, they are payed. !!!!!!Walmart!!!! remove it from the shelves!!!!!!
