RIT All-Purpose Powder Dye is a classic fabric dye for refreshing garments, accessories and home décor made from dyeable fibres. It works on natural fabrics such as cotton, linen, silk and wool, and on nylon and rayon. Dissolve the powder fully in very hot water before adding it to the dyebath, then test a swatch and follow RIT instructions for salt, vinegar, water temperature and rinsing. Colour/shade should be confirmed from the product variant.

great product. Right color as described. Took only minutes for cotton to accept dye.

I can (Re) brighten my clothes that have faded or just add a little lift to the items that  I can't part with. I am never without the black dye. I have so many black clothes that need to stay really black.  MUST HAVE

Did it's job as I expected. Finished with a salt and vinegar soak for 24 hrs to lock in color

Not good for wool. It barely dyed my dark brown jacket. Had to keep temperature down to prevent shrinking so it might be the reason.

Has its limitation

Dye did not last...- not good for outdoor fabric

Not worth it.
