I purchased 2 skeins each of four different color combinations. I crocheted through all of them before leaving this review.

Invariably, the length of color C for the very last motif of each skein was not long enough to complete the last row. To compensate, I pieced together enough yarn from the excessively long color C tails of the other motifs to complete the last motif. 

Occasionally, color C bleeds too far into color A and there's not enough pure color A to complete row 1.

Rarely, the skein ends with Color A or Colors A and B, which I discarded.

Overall, I enjoyed working with this new yarn. The pattern was fun to make. It took some trial and error to decipher the pattern with regard to repeat sections.

Challenging; ultimately worth the effort.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time using the All In One yarn. I'm an instructor for the Dallas Crochet Club, and I think this yarn is a great way to teach tension, as well as make beautiful, easy granny squares.

Beautiful and Colorful Granny Squares

I bought this yarn in the Friday Brights Bundle.  Two each of Four different Flower Power skeins (8 total) Plus a minty colored skein of Red Heart Supersaver.  I don't like sewing together squares, so I made a big square using 4 different skeins; the afghan came out nice since the colors complement one another.  Would I buy it again, yes, in fact I did!   The soft yarn makes a nice afghan and the colors look great together.

Great yarn at good price when bought in a bundle.

At first, this yarn worked perfectly, but now every time I do it I have about 1 to 2 feet of color 2 leftover! I don’t know if it’s me or the yarn! Having to change the color there is a little annoying, but other than that, these squares are easy and fun to make- I have memorized the pattern now and it’s not a hard one to remember, it’s very repetitive. I modified the last round to just be dc because I wanted them a bit bigger and there’s plenty of yarn for it. I can make one in about 25 minutes and it’s fun to time myself to see how much time I can cut off each time! Planning on making a cardigan- we’ll see how it turns out!

Pretty Petals!

I have never previously made granny squares because I detest sewing in ends. This yarn eliminates the extra sewing involved and has been fun to use.  The amount allowed for each round is close to accurate.  Not changing yarn colors really speeds up the crocheting.

Flower Power

I bought one skein to try. I had trouble finding the right hook for my tension but settled on one. I could end the first color at the right time but always had extra of the second color. I just rejoined it where it needed to start a new color. That was fine until the very last block and I didn't have enough of the last color to finish. I had to borrow from the previous squares to finish. Also some of the lighter colors had bleed over from the darker colors so there are random spots in my squares.  Overall it was a fun challenge but I'm glad I only bought one skein.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought during 40% off sale to try. I quite like the challenge but it can be a bit frustrating at times. Once you work out tension and hook size (s), all is good. I tried some of the alternative patterns from videos and those are fun, too. Yarn quality is softer with newer yarn but, for me, it splits some. Might be worth it to skip this yarn and just resign yourself to weaving in the ends with regular skeins and choosing your own colors.

Not for everyone

There is no hook size that allows you to 'keep on stitching' and get the right result. If Color 1 comes out right then Color 2 will be yards too long - I tried 5 different colorways. But I give it 2 stars because the colors, individually and in combination, are beautiful.

Doesn't work!

I love Red Heart acrylic, mainly because of its color selection, and quality.  I hurried to by this flower yarn due to very good marketing and advertising.  the color is perfect, but the yarn is impossible to use and create a flower. To begin with the instructions are impossible to read too small.  I started with the required size hook to finish the center color, and by the end of the square I was using a 2.75 and super tight crocheting to make the color "work" that made the square look stupid.  i've heard the second square is easier to achieve the desired effect, i'm hopefull, cause otherwise it would be easier just to find a nice flower granny square pattern and change colors myself!
