For Beginners

Soft and bright color ways with consistent shades.

Can be intuitive with adjustments, but requires practice.

Made from excellent and beautiful materials.

Wanted to try this and so bought it after I seen some reviews on YouTube and people having issues. Leave 4” tail at the beginning of project once you figure out what hook size to use to get the results it goes very easy and makes really nice granny squares. I've also tried making an African flower granny square out of it as well that turned out well as well. It can be used for other things besides granny squares. I'm making a dog sweater in the soft white/citrus one and I've done the African flowers in color soft white pink punch. I've had very little issue getting the color changes. Depending on if you work tighter with stitches or looser will depend on what hook size you'll require. I get the same results with the hook they recommend and the next hook size up. Of your experience in crocheting or knitting you shouldn't have to much problem working the color changes

Work well with hook size that works for you

Love this colorway it is gorgeous and I have gotten so many complements on the squares so far. I don't like that they use Fedex to deliver as they always cancel if the weather isn't perfect and then the box was so beat up it looked like it was stomped on multiple times and was wet from rain. Thank goodness Red Heart packed the yarn in plastic!

Fun Yarn!

Yarnspirations.com

I love these colors, and my daughter does too. I've only been crocheting for a few months, and this works really well for learning granny squares for beginners(imo). I have slowly gotten better and better. I had no issues with this colorway, or at least the first of 2 of this color.

Great product

I've always resisted trying granny squares because of all the ends to weave in. Now I'm making tons of them and having so much fun! I LOVE this yarn! I did have to fiddle a bit with my hook size and the number of chains (I leave out the ones between dc clusters for a tighter looking square) but once I worked that out, it's been smooth going! I can finish a square a day no matter how busy I get & I'm already halfway to new curtains! :)

Grannies for Days!!!

Loved working with Sweetheart granny square yarn - 5 colors and NO knots! I got 14 squares from one skein and they paired perfectly with 14 plain squares to make a large baby blanket. It was easy to pick a coordinated color because the granny square colors are listed on the wrapper. I used a 4.5 mm hook to maintain proper gauge. Great product.

5 colors and No knots!

i’ve had a lot of fun with the all-in-one Granny. I’ve bought almost every color but a lot of them are out of stack. I was able to work it up easily. I found it pretty easy to use the miracle circle. I made a sweater I had so much fun. I just wish you guys kept everything in stock soon as I hear about it it’s out of stock But I did get a few of the

New, all in one Granny squares by red heart

Really enjoyed this yarn and the colours I chose, “Soft White Shadow” and “Black Dove” which I used to create the squares for the Yarnspirations pattern, Cozy Granny Cardigan. They look great together! I gave the yarn four stars rather than five because using this yarn to create granny squares is not simple. You have to have a knowledge of tension, and have tricks up your sleeve, like changing the size of your hook, etc. With almost each row of every square within the same skein of yarn, I was playing yarn chicken and undoing and redoing the stitches. That is the price you pay for not weaving in ends. So be warned!

Fun yarn but there’s a caveat!

Absolutely love this all in one yarn! The only downside is EVERYONE is making them and it's hard to purchase yarn since there is such a demand for it. The only drawback to making the squares is constantly having to adjust for the color change not always aligning with the tension of my crocheting. Not a big deal but sometimes i have to go back and adjust my tension. But don't let that stop anyone from making something with this wonderful yarn. I want to make each color scheme!

LOVE THIS YARN!

I love this yarn! I have only 4 out of 5 stars because if your gauge is not consistent and spot on you will have to frog and try again a time or two. But it’s super convenient and the colors are awesome. Some I never would have thought about, which is why I like Like That the colors are already picked for you!

Super yarn

This yarn is soft and the color that I bought is lovely. However, the process of making the granny squares was a total disaster. I spent more time ripping out and re-stitching that I have ever spent weaving in ends. Additionally, the varied tension required to get the rounds round correctly led to a rather curled up edge. I am now using the yarn to make a corner-to-corner lap blanket. It is crocheting like a standard ombré or stripe yarn.

Great yarn if you ignore the granny square gimick.
