I find this yarn to be of a very high quality. I mainly use it for knitting items for homeless shelters so it is a nice thickness for scarves, hats, mittens etc. 
I find it a very affordable yarn that enables me to make more items without breaking the bank.

Value for money

I purchases this yarn for three reasons. 1. It was on sale. 2. It comes in a 12 ounce skein. I3. There are many wonderful colors to choose from. I repurchased it because it is luxurious and easy to crochet. Four skeins made a 60" square afghan that looks great and is great for friends and family gifts, and the community service quilts that I donate to the LA County hospital through St Camillus Church. This yarn makes a beautiful color blend when crocheted with a moss stitch. I made a toddler blanket out of this that worked up quickly and is much beloved by its recipient. It is soft and squishy and has held up well after numerous washings. I always stock up whenever Comfort Yarn is on sale. The color options are unique and varied, and on top of that they are a great value!

Colors Blend Into A Beautiful Mosaic-like Pattern

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The colors in the skein itself are beautiful, and while I am giving the actual yarn 5 stars for beautiful colors, softness and the sheer size of the skein, it arrived with the plastic bag already opened and some dirty spots on some of the strands of yarn. I’m a little apprehensive about using it for my project and the spots not washing out.

I really enjoy working with this yarn.  It is very very affordable and has best yardage for the price.  I have worked up several items and the best part is not having found any knots in 10 or more skeins! I'm not so concerned with softness while using it as it is sturdy and will soften after washing.  I wish there were more color options!  Love Red Heart.

Comfort Yarn

Our first grandbaby (boy) is due in May to outdoor loving parents. I have knitted socks, pants (newborn to 6 month size) and a cardigan to complete the outfit, all in camo. 
Everyone has admired the idea. I am having fun knitting, them anticipating the responses when the parents see them.

Fun baby items from camo yarn,

Nice, thick, colorful yarn.  I made a crochet hat with mine and it’s nice and warm in our cold winter climate.  I have washed mine and laid flat to dry-it did not shrink or pill up. It’s great for hats, and would probably make a nice thick warm blanket or sweater also.

I have used Red Heart yarns for many years and love it. Comfort is even better, because it’s a large skein, making it perfect for afghans. This time I was a bit disappointed, because the white wasn’t a bright white like the other ones I’ve gotten. It’s more like a winter white, which is a bit of a pain, since I’m in the middle of an overlay mosaic , where there’s a lot of “snow”. Maybe with careful placement I can make it look like the wildlife has made some “yellow snow” lol.

Love Red Heart Comfort

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Red Heart Yarns! Especially the softer ones. They are eco-friendly and inexpensive compared to other yarns I have used over the past 63 years. I have yet to make my project out of this, but I have high hopes for the look, drape, and texture I hope to achieve with it.

Great all around yarn

I crochet baby blankets for donation so I am always looking for economical yarns. Red Heart Comfort filled that need. As with some Red Heart yarns, this was typically rough. It felt scratchy going through my fingers and a bit 'stiff'. When my project was finished, I ran it through a gentle cycle and dried it on low. This resulted in a blanket I felt was acceptable for donation.

Value yarn

I bought this yarn in "Gravel pirnt" and I really liked the colors but the yarn itself was really unpleasant to the touch. It might have been good for a dishcloth or scrubber of some kind, but I expected yarn called "comfort" to be nice and soft. Red Heart Super Saver is softer, and that's saying something.

Very scratchy yarn; no "comfort" at all.
