it may not be the softest yarn you've ever touched but it is very good quality and after a wash and dry in the machine it's going to be just as soft as you had hoped. the colors are gorgeous and it really does remind us of childhood and kindergarten with a touch of sophistication of adulthood.

Saw this yarn in a crochet post on FB.  Loved the way if looked.  Super pretty, works up very nicely.  Love Bitty Stripes.  Hoping they keep this line and add more colors to their line up.  Making a small Moss stitch baby afghan. Using an I  (5.5mm) hook.  It has a nice drape with the 5.5mm hook.

Nice quiet colour knitting yarn.  I used 4mm needle for a firm stitch.  Turned out gorgeous.  Should be washed in machine but lay flat to dry for best results.  Pattern on package helpful but I knitted in double moss stitch in lieu of garter stitch and it looks amazing.

Yarn I love and Red  Heart I’ve been skeptical of. But it’s been some time since I purchased it and I’m glad to see they have changed their quality and looks with all the new types they have now. Thank you Red Heart for updating your yarn.

A change has come

I absolutely love this yarn, the coloring is beautiful, it’s rich and vibrant with what I feel like is a rustic aesthetic. It’s soft and sturdy. Minimal pilling and very easy to crochet with.  I made kindle sleeves and a blanket. I want to keep buying more and more to make more things!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful colors, just super sad the 6 skeins of Crayon Box do not match. 2 skeins are a different dye lot and have no white throughout them. Now I have to save up and try again for all skeins to be the same dye lot. There is a very noticeable difference and it won't work in my sweater pattern. All the Newsprint match and I'm very happy about that.

I found it rather thin  Recommend go down needle or hook size. It was soft and nice colors.

Nice but thin

VERY disappointed in the quality of this yarn. I expected this Bitty Stripes to be the same as the Ombre yarn but the quality is extremely disappointing!  I will wash the 5 squares I completed for the Granny Goes Random blanket but if the texture does not soften up these 5 skeins will end up as blankets for the dog/cat shelter.
