[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Nano X4's mark my fourth pair of Nanos, and it hit me when I put them on the first time that this brand and model are the most reliably great workout shoe, ever...in my opinion. I only recently retired my first pair I purchased in 2019, as they went from workout shoes to leisure shoes to yard work shoes. Each experience as good or better than the previous, and these X4s are keeping that pattern alive. Every feature is as advertised.

Aside from the toe box being a bit narrow this shoe ticks all the boxes. The toe box does seem to be loosening up the more I wear them but just seems like a simple oversight that could've been avoided

Generally Great, wish the toe box was wider

Looks great but I'm concerned how long it will take to break in/loosen up. They seem tighter than X1's from a while back and significantly tighter tow box than my X2. Length is good for the 10.5

Muncher tighter than x2

Been wearing the X4 for a few weeks now. Here is the good. The X4 are definitely lighter. T2B and box jumps don't feel as clunky as the X3. The X4 toe guard is stronger than the X3. The float ride energy is noticeable for dubs, feels like I have springs on my feet. The X4 is pretty flexible yet supportive for lunges, pistols and heavy squats well. I have not tried rope climbs yet. Here is the bad. I could wear the X3 all day, I don't feel that way about the X4. The X4 is more uncomfortable. The toe box and mid sole is tighter. The heel iteration from the X2 is sorta back. Overall the X3 was a better shoe even though it's heavier. The color selection is not great, yet. The flagship white/orange look cool but get dirty easy.

It's the X3 but lighter with a worse heel

I recently purchased the Reebok Nano X4, eager to add them to my training gear, influenced by my positive experiences with previous models. However, my anticipation quickly turned into disappointment. The primary issue I encountered was with the fit and sizing of the shoe. Despite ordering my usual size, which had been a perfect fit in past models, the Nano X4 appeared noticeably smaller. This discrepancy wasn't just a minor inconvenience but a significant drawback that affected the overall comfort and usability of the shoe. The snugness was evident from the moment I tried them on, providing an immediate sense of restriction, rather than the supportive yet comfortable fit I was accustomed to in their predecessors. This tightness was not something that could be remedied by simply breaking them in, as the shoe's structure itself seemed to be the root of the issue. The smaller fit has left me with no choice but to return them and size up, an inconvenience that I haven't faced with previous versions of the Nano series. It's a disappointing setback, especially considering the Nano's reputation for delivering on both performance and comfort. The need to size up might be a minor hiccup for some, but for me, it represents a step back in the consistency and reliability I've come to expect from Reebok's sizing standards. In conclusion, while the Reebok Nano X4 continues to embody the quality and design innovation characteristic of the brand, the fit and sizing issue cannot be overlooked. If you're considering purchasing the Nano X4, I strongly recommend trying them on or sizing up to avoid the same disappointment. It's a lesson in ensuring that advancements in design do not come at the cost of the fundamental aspects of fit and comfort, which are crucial for any training shoe.

A Step Back in Fit and Size: My Experience with the Reebok

Nanos apparently no longer work for me. I tried my normal size (10.5) and the next size up and both are too narrow in the toe box. Never had this issue with previous versions. These seem like the Tyr trainers now which is unfortunate. Maybe Reebok can make wide versions as well?

Great shoe but it's sized for a narrow foot.  I normally wear a size 9, and I bought a size 9 1/2, but It Was still too tight for me

Im a Nano fan and have bought for years. These are terrible. Narrow toe box, narrow shoe and the sole broke/split after only 2 rope climbs. I had them about a month. I returned them. Nano 4s are terrible.

Very disappointed

When I tried it on, I immediately noticed the plastic on the sides pushing into my arches. The sole is much narrower than expected. I knew right away that it was not going to work out with the hard plastic and the arch.
