I bought this kit because I wanted to lighten my hair at home instead of going to a salon. It turned out well. I'm naturally a brunette, so I had to highlight it twice for better results. The kit comes with everything you need and is easy to mix. The violet shampoo and conditioner toned my hair and kept it from looking too brassy. It also made my hair soft.

I never write reviews but wanted to say I bought this product to lighten my dark blonde hair a bit.  Followed instructions to a T and the results were better than I could have ever asked for.  Professional looking and beautiful.  I am so happy.  Better than salon results in my opinion.  Definitely would recommend.

Great product!

Comare to other brands, I like this one better and this is the one I've using for many years.  the cap gives me options of how much I want the highlights and It's easy to apply. The color came out vey nice every time and it was exactly what I want.

My %231 choice compare to other brands

I was tired of my hair getting darker as I got older. I've always been a towhead, but as of late haven't spent much time in the sun. This was exactly what I needed.
Too cool for you!

This lasts about 9 months in your hair. I did it first time December 2025. And 2nd time on September 2026.  The only reason I even did it again is because my hair was growing out. It doesn't even fade your hair just grows out. The biggest problem is the hook for the cap. So hard to pull out especially with thick hair. It ended up getting about an inch of my hair knotted and I had to cut off about 8 inches of it. I didn't use the cap the first time, it comes out in bigger Highlites and the cap makes it smaller highlights. I have dark brown hair so I let the color sit for about 1 hour before washing.  To make it really pretty and last it takes about 3 hours. Really worth it!

KINDA HARD BUT LASTS

I didn't even get to try the product because %231) the "hook" was just a stick 
%232) the cap didn't sit down completely on my head and while I was trying to adjust it
%233) the strap on the cap broke....
The price is irrelevant if you can't use the product.

It may have been great.  I'll never know.

Unfortunately, the hook wasn't actually a hook. It was not shaped correctly so I couldn't hook any hair at all. I had to pull out a crochet hook cause I had already started my hair and I wanted to finish it so I just did the best I could with what I had.

I don't know if it's because I had a pick up order and they stuck it in the refrigerator with the rest of my order, but it barely developed any blonde tones (they look like random streaks of gray)  and fried 2 inches at least off of my hair! DONT use if you care about your hair!

Do not buy.
