I never write reviews but wanted to say I bought this product to lighten my dark blonde hair a bit.  Followed instructions to a T and the results were better than I could have ever asked for.  Professional looking and beautiful.  I am so happy.  Better than salon results in my opinion.  Definitely would recommend.

I bought this kit because I wanted to lighten my hair at home instead of going to a salon. It turned out well. I'm naturally a brunette, so I had to highlight it twice for better results. The kit comes with everything you need and is easy to mix. The violet shampoo and conditioner toned my hair and kept it from looking too brassy. It also made my hair soft.

Good Brand Hair Color

Comare to other brands, I like this one better and this is the one I've using for many years.  the cap gives me options of how much I want the highlights and It's easy to apply. The color came out vey nice every time and it was exactly what I want.

I'm not an expert but this is the easiest way to get highlights when you can't get to the salon. The shade/color is just as it's stated on the box. It has a cap included but I use foils. It does take some patients to know exactly where you want to put the foils. I have dark brown hair and I didn't have any issues with it being brassy. This comes with the purple shampoo and conditioner but I haven't had to use it right after I finished highlighting my hair. I did use it about 2-3 weeks after to help reduce the look of the brassiness. I also want to mention I have long hair down to the middle of my back so I had to use two boxes. You don't want to go light when using the foils, if you apply it too lightly or thin you will run the risk of your hair not processing correctly. I get compliments all the time and when a professional stylist says it looks good(considering it's from a big box store) then that speaks volumes!!

The cap has black holes which makes easier pull through of hair and there is a good amount of the mixture to cover hair.  I will definitely buy this product again.

I wish I discovered this long time ago. It's definitely needed for home dyes. My hairs dark and I achieved the lightness I wanted without going orange

This is a highlighting kit that has stayed tried and true. I section my very blonde hair and use an extra toothbrush lightly through the roots, meeting the parts that I don't want to reprocess. for me, I lightly place an open larger plastic baggie over top of my hair. In my experience through the years, I've left it on probably about 15 minutes or so longer and then rinse while then applying the conditioner all over. The conditioner packet is absolutely wonderful, and I suggest leaving it on for a while before the final rinse with cold water. the closest thing to the conditioner for future use that I can find is L'Oreal's purple shampoo for a reasonable price. Good luck!

It gives a caramel blonde color to brown hair. Just don't rub in the color into the cap when applying because it will cause the dye to leak thru the cap and make a poked dot appearance. The hook in the kit broke very easily so I recommend buying another one separately.

Unfortunately, the hook wasn't actually a hook. It was not shaped correctly so I couldn't hook any hair at all. I had to pull out a crochet hook cause I had already started my hair and I wanted to finish it so I just did the best I could with what I had.
