TL/DR: very dark intense black, precise, stays on, can do multiple coats with no flaking or peeling, on the glossy side.  A very good waterproof liner choice for us older ladies as it does not “skip” or crack on loose or lined lids.

I have to start by saying I've been wearing eyeliner- a lot of eyeliner- probably longer than quite a few of you reading this have been alive.  I'm a make up artist, I worked at Nordstrom in cosmetics for years as a counter manager for a big name makeup company, and I've tried many, many different eyeliners over the years- cream, pencil, gel, liquid, cake, waterproof and non-waterproof.  I decided to try this Revlon liner on a whim.  The first thing I noticed when I opened it was the weird little “ball” on the end of the felt tip.  I hadn't really noticed it as a feature when ordering it, and was worried I'd made a mistake by buying a gimmicky liner.  I tested it on the back of my hand.  Nice and deep pigmented black- good start.  I could easily vary the line thickness by applying pressure to various degrees, so the little ball didn't make application difficult.  I then tried it on my eyes.  I have always worn a very bold 1960s eye, with eyeliner all around my eye, with a tapering cat-eye “tail” at the outer edge of the eye- sort of Cleopatra style.  Although I am not young, I have taken good care of my skin, so I have very few wrinkles.  But I do have a few shallow vertical lines at the corner of my eyes near my nose, and a lot of eyeliners will “skip” (or crack) here.  This liner did NOT do that.  It applied easily- dried fairly quickly- is VERY black, and a bit shiny, which I am fine with, as I set my liner with a light application of black eyeshadow.  However if you prefer a super matte eyeliner, you might not be a fan of this liner's glossy finish.  Personally, I liked it.  So now to measure wear time.  I wore this liner for six hours, at home, working on the computer.  I made coffee and cooked, so was around hot humid air and did some Tai Chi, so I perspired a bit.  Most liners that end up in the reject pile invariably fade or flake at the inner corner of the eye, near the tear ducts, or my cat-eye extension will fade a bit.  This liner did not do this.  There was a spot on one lid that was not as dark as I prefer, and I went over it with another coat of liner.  No flaking- no peeling.  I have purchased some very pricey liners in my day, and this one was outperforming all of them.  It worked as well as my old reliable- MAC Fluidline- and it is much less expensive.  You will for sure need waterproof eye makeup remover to get this liner off.  Soak a cotton round with remover, and hold it against your eye for about ten seconds.  Flip it over, and hold for another ten seconds.  (Do not rub!  That breaks down the fragile eye skin.)  I didn't expect much from this liner, and I have a new favorite!  Any of you who have loose or slightly wrinkled lids- give this liner a try.  Very happy I found it!

Revlon eyeliner

Great for the price, its easy to apply and I like the applicator. I usually get minimal smudges. It is very long lasting through most conditions, there are more water-proof eyeliners out there but for the price of this one - it is good for everyday use.

i reqlly loved this eyeliner at first but after just two weeks its already drying up and getting small clumps in it . dipping the veyr very tip in alxohol helps a but i definitely expected better for the price i paid for this one as opposed to the wet and wild eyeliner I usually get thats a good bit cheaper and last a pretty long time even with almost daily use. disappointed.

Was hoping this would be easy to glide on eyelids.. too much product comes out of the brush to smear

I am on a tough budget like most people. I order a much less expensive eye liner for a thin line. this is not what I want. I don't drive and it's a real burden to return. 🫤

Do not buy this! the felt tip was not sharp or to a point it for a clean line barely produced any liquid when applying it smears through out the day I had to press it up against the cap to try and get enough liquid to come out and it still didn't work and apply properly. There are way better felt tip eyeliners out there than this.

This eyeliner writes fine for like half a second but then creates too thick of lines and barely comes out

I didn't like this liner. It was too runny and was hard to control and put on my eye lids without making a mess. Hopefully I can return it. I don't like it at all.
