He had work long hard hours and was very disappointed when that happened. Discovered Water was getting into my oil on my 2000 f150... It wasn't too bad but still not good .. I figured I would try this before more expensive or time consuming options... Followed directions and it has worked great so far... I changed the oil and no longer any signs of water in my oil.. no froth no milkshake just clean oil .. highly recommend

Working good

My husband bought this product in the hope that he would not have to take his truck to the shop to put a whole new head gasket on. Well, his prayers were answered by using this product. It was a miracle, once he put it in, keep it running for 15 minutes, and keep the heater on full blast, he saw no smoke, water that we heard from the heater was almost gone and it was drivable again. Thank you Bar's Leak for making a product that saves a consumer from spending lots of money when you are on a tight budget!

Bar's Leak Block Seal Head Gasket Fix

I purchased this Bars head gasket repair last week and once I received it I instantly wanted to see if it could seal my leaking head gasket. I followed the instructions to a tee, shook up the bottle, poured directly into radiator, refilled with antifreeze, and allowed my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 to idle for about 15 to 20 minutes. I allowed the engine to cool, and was so anxious to see if it made any difference. I came back out around 2 hours later after my truck had completely cooled. I took it for a drive around the block a few times and it seems to be working fine so far. Although my head temperature rises above the mid point still, it slowly goes back to the mid point for awhile then goes back up but doesn't overheat. I'm just glad that I can now drive my truck without the heavy smoking that my engine was doing before I installed. Thank Bars for fixing my leak.

I can't believe it worked

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My car was puffing white smoke from the back of the intake manifold. Smelled like something burning. I put this in and the smoke stopped coming out. Burning smell died down quickly and the heater actually blew hotter air than before. I hope this will give us at least a while longer to use the car before it has to be replaced.

Stopped the leak

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this in the past on two vehicles and it fixed the head gasket on both. I recently put it in my daily driver with a blown head gasket and it sealed it within twenty minutes. Great product and definitely recommend it.

Does what it says

I've used this product several times in the past with various degrees of success.  It works sometimes and other times, it doesn't do anything.  If you have a fairly small leak, chances are it will work, but it's not a permanent fix.  It will buy you some time until it starts leaking again.  I could usually go about 4 weeks before I start losing water again.  If it's a big leak, save your money.  Everything will leak out before it has time to do anything.

If it's a small, I absolutely recommend it.  But, follow the directions as written.  Any deviation and it's not going to work and you're just throwing money away.
