The upper of this Rocky S2V boot is comprised of unbelievably strong leather (it's resistant to both water and flash), terrifically breathable yet extremely hard-wearing Cordura (resists abrasions like no other) and has an astonishingly well-fitting Lycra tongue. PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) has been applied to the footwear to provide additional flame resistance. These things survived 7 years and 9 months of daily use. The sole starting splitting from the boot - still usable but figured it was time for a new pair - so I bought the same set of boots. I was not rough on them, but worn daily on a ship and office setting.

Wore these through active duty.  Wore through post contract equipment operation. Will wear through a degree as needed.

I bought these a month ago and never had to break them in. They slid right on and felt like I had them forever.

My husband said these are the most comfortable work boots he has ever had. He works 6 days a week, on his feet 10 hours a day. We will be getting these from now on.

COMFORT

Bought a pair for work and another for duty. I love the boots, comfy as well as easy break in. I have bad ankles and I need something solid that will bend as well as protect. Not once has my ankle tried to roll on me (knock on wood). Thank you guys n gals! Customer for life even after I ets.

Ocp steel toe

Part of the steel toe is hurting my big toe. But, better price than on base.  Like, way better!!!.

I appreciate the quality of the boots, but they are extremely heavy. I would much rather prefer a lightweight option.

These are quite literally the most uncomfortable boots I've ever had and it made my plantar fasciitis worse. 2 stars because at least aesthetically they do well.
