Bought two pair of Rocky SlipStop 911 Plain Toe Oxford shoe becuse I am on my feet for TEN hours a day. My next door neighbor is a letter carrier and SHE recomended said 
model.
Why two pair? An heir and a spare.

I Started buying these rocky shoes in a Police equipment store. They were recommended to me through the store. I walk a lot and it fits my job cause I had to wear a certain shoe. I wore one pair for 2 years before they started to go down at the heal. Very comfortable and soft. Yet strong and firm. I never went to another work shoe again. Also I have worn them to parties. The shoes are work standard for me and yet dressy for parties. I recently got my 2 pairs of rockies on line because the store stopped selling them. I would recommend they to all who walk a lot. and want comfy. 5 star for me. This is my opinion.

Soft and very comfortable

I bought the same shoes a 4 years ago, no break in period, these still working.
Looks not so great, but comfortable, fits well and very pleased good quality.
Made from natural leather, has rubber sole, but light weight. 
Bought again 2 pair 2 month ago, and I am happy!

Comfortable and durable.

Recommended to me by a fellow officer who has a brother in LAPD. Never heard of them, but I needed a replacement pair so I bought them. 

The fit is a bit tight, next time I will buy wides, but wides were not available. 

The feel is the most important part. After an 8 hour shift spent walking, I felt much better than I had wearing Dr. Scholls Walking Shoes.  After an 8 hour supervisor stint spent driving and walking, my feet feel awesome.

Great foot patrol footwear

At first, I thought that I did not like the insole.  but after wearing the shoes for several weeks,. I think they are great.  I own a meat shop and the shoes  are exactly what I was looking for.  I left Red Wing for your shoes and I am glad I did.

These shoe were bought for my grandson .He said they fit very comfortable and no break in necessary.He very please with them and would them again  went he ready for another pairs.

Rocky slipstop 911 plain toe oxford

These shoes are comfortable but not very slip resistant..Not very good on restaurant floors..wore them at work slipped on floor and fell...I still prefer the old style they were more comfortable and I never slipped at all in them...

i am very happy with the comfort of this shoe. But the slip stop is not the same that Rocky used to use just a small amount of water and they slip. i used to use Rockys when i worked for Marriott in the 80s and 90s and they were very slip resistant. these may not be the same shoe. But slip stop they are not what i remember. But the comfort is what i remember

very comfortable

Waited  nearly a month from when I ordered them till they were available to ship. Seem comfortable, I work on concrete all day.  The slip resistant  is not as good as my last rocky but work.

They are ok

I had bought these for my employment as they look good and promised to be comfortable. I stowed them in my truck and did not wear them until I had reason to. After a half day at the track I knew these were not going to be comfortable. There seemed to be zero cushioning effect and I was just hammering the asphalt with my feet. I purchased some expensive comfort insoles but they were not much help. The brand was recommended to me by a retired Postal Worker but I suppose I should have gotten the USPS approved shoes.
