To create a durably tough exterior, Rocky used full-grain leather and 1000 denier nylon (superior strength). A side zipper allows you to easily get these boots on and off. It's covered with a VELCRO; strap. While you're on duty, Alpha Force boots keep your feet safe. They have a composite toe that meets ASTM standards for impact and compression. The boots also meet ASTM F2413-11 Electrical Hazard standards. Foot Comfort

I've been buying and wearing these boots for 18 years. They are comfortable and lightweight. I will continue to purchase them. A couple suggestions for the composite tow model is to add shank protection and better arch support. I solve this currently by purchasing inserts.

Comfortable and affordable work boots.

My first pair of Rocky boots. Exactly what I wanted and as advertised. Great boots, especially to keep your feet dry. Wore them all day in 75 degree dry conditions and feet didn't get sweaty or overheated with the waterproofing. Company service was outstanding. First I ordered the wrong size. Return process was simple, fast and unquestioned to get the correct size. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Only small complaint would be the snap covers over the top of the zipper could be a little more sturdy.

Awesome Company

I purchased the boots and received them. When I tried them on one of the laces separated. I called customer service to see if they would just mail me a replacement pair of laces, but they would not, I could return the entire pair of boots tat would be much more in shipping than just purchase a new pair of laces. Customer service is not what I would think is up to PAR.

Support

Great Boots.  Extremely comfortable.  Not sure why you are requesting a "review of my new purchase".  I bought them 5 years ago.  Still in great shape.  I use them in support of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Very Comfortable Boots

Bought these about a month ago. Nice boots, very comfortable. My only real complaint is the zipper can get stuck on the inside material when unzipping.

Great boots! One small issue.

Always go back to a proven winner. I had worn a pair of Rocky's AlphaForce boots for years that had treated me real well and took a beating. So when it was time for a new pair I went back to what worked. Of course, these did not disappoint. Fit perfectly and after about a week, they have broken in nicely. I enjoy the added side zipper, as my old one's did not have, and I love the support and comfort they provide my feet.

Never disappoints

I have had these boots for a month. They are light weight and comfortable. The only problem is they squeak when you walk. I have tried cleaning the insole and baby powder and have not resolved the noise.  That said they are not safe for a police officer. They bad guy will hear you coming.

Comfortable boot

I had used Rocky AlphaForce Zipper Composite Toe boots consistently for work for about 10 years and was very happy with them. I purchased new boots almost yearly. Around 2021 I purchased a new pair and the right boot began to smell really bad. It was to the point I felt self conscious around coworkers. My feet never smelled "fresh and clean", but this was a new level of disgust, and it was only the right boot. After about a year, I replaced that pair with a new pair. The same thing happened only it was the left boot instead of the right one.  After that second year of having one smelly foot, I switched brands and have not had that problem since. I frequently wonder if the problem was maybe Rocky switched to a different material supplier? Except for the smell, the boots were very comfortable and durable, and by far my favorite boots.

I used to love Rocky Alpha force ones. I've wore them for years, but the last two sets of boots I've had have fallen apart within the first six months of owning them two years ago The bottom of my boot completely peeled off. This last set of boots I've had the stitching completely ripped out of the back of the heel at the top of the ankle. I don't know what's happened to quality control, but it sure isn't the alpha force ones that I grew to love and constantly buy

Not the same boot as the old boot hard pass now

Out of the box, I loved the boot. It had all the features I wanted and they looked rugged. That quickly faded as they fell apart with daily use over a few months (mostly in an office environment, mind you).

Zippers separated, seams tore open, the sole separated from the boot, chunks of tread broke off. I figured it was a defective pair so I ordered again. Exact same experience. I ended up tossing them and going with a reputable brand.

Abysmal quality, consistently.
