A combination of coyote brown leather and CORDURA; nylon, the Rocky Lightweight (RLW) boot resists water and dries fast. The NATO hooks and speed lace eyelets help you lace your boot quickly, and this lacing system won't cut away at your laces. This military boot gives you secure and confident footing. The aggressive multi-directional rubber outsole competently grips slippery or tough terrain. The heel and toe tread locks are reinforced with stitching. And you'll find this is a really comfortable combat boot. Inside, a removable Rocky Air-Port insole is molded from long-lasting polyurethane, so it won't break down or lose its shape. The Air-Port footbed is created to circulate air to your feet each time you take a step. Additional comfort features include a rubber midsole and a padded collar. This military boot weighs just 18 ounces. You can be on your feet all day without being weighed down by your footwear. The RLW is 8 inches tall. I walk the Bataan March marathon every March in White Sands, New Mexico. My training regimen for the marathon averages 200+ miles, every mile of which I walk in the Rocky military boot. It breathes, keeps the sand out and still looks like new. Love my Rocky military boots (This is my third pair…they seem to last about 5 years or 1000 miles!!!)

Bought these boots for my husband due to his bad ankle and they give him great support in his construction job and his foot does not hurt as much as with other boots.

Great pair of boots at a great price!

This is the second pair of this boot I have purchased. I'm a fairly small guy 5 6' 165lbs and have abused these boots on active duty both in and out of country, in the field for weeks and in garrison, and through air assault school. The first pair I have are still serviceable but are now my ruck boots as they've done their duty. A couple things that might be a deal breaker for some of you though. #1 If you are picky about having light boots then this "is not the droid your looking for" #2 the foam strip along the top inside of the boot did bust out of the leather over time. Pictures of my old boots are below, still not bad for 3yrs of hard use.

Good Work Horse Boot for the Right Person

This would be the third set of these that I purchased because I loved them so much. Unfortunately only after a few months of wearing these for light office duty, a huge portion of the sole separated on the left boot leading me to get it repaired. The boots still look brand new, but by the time my last set wore out and I started wearing these, the warranty was up.

Sole separation

I've been wearing the boots for a couple of months now, and they feel stiff and heavy. I thought they would be similar to the C4T boots I had in 2011.

Not a C4T Replacement

1st pair was deformed, so I just received a second pair in a damaged box, this pair looked deformed as well, and they look used, just with a brand new sole. I'm highly disappointed with my experience. I will be sending the second pair back as well in exchange for a refund.
