The Rocky S2V Tactical Military Boot is a Coyote Brown military boot that stands up to tough conditions and is comfortable to wear. This uniform-compliant boot is approved for wear with all applicable Operational Camouflage Pattern variations. Made of flash-resistant, water-resistant leather and 1,000-denier CORDURA; nylon, this combat boot is PTFE-coated for flame resistance. Drainage vents with advanced S2V Sieve technology circulate air in and push water out, allowing your feet to dry quickly. The durable, triple-stitched army boot stays together through wear and tear, and reduces ankle injuries with Roll-Stop Ankle Stability. The stretch LYCRA; tongue hugs your foot for a secure fit. This boot has a Vibram; sole with proprietary high walls and a polyurethane midsole. Inside the footwear are features that make this a comfortable boot. The Dri-Lex; lining wicks away moisture. I bought these a month ago and like the first pair I ever owned when I was still in, they fit and perform well. I hiked about 10 miles in them and no issues. Got them wet in the rain and my feet were pretty dry after. I hope these last me long like my last pair.

I bought my first pair of these boots in late 2020; after wearing them every day for 4 years in security forces, plus frequent hiking trips, and just using them as general work boots they finally needed to be replaced in February of 2026. Buying my second pair was a no-brainer.

Extremely Durable

These are the best "out-of-the-box" ready boots I have ever owned. Exceptionally comfortable sole, lycra lining makes slipping on these boots easy, and appear to be constructed well. My last pair of SV2 Tactical boots were worn everyday for 4 years straight. No lost stitching, no separated sole, no torn fabric exterior. I cannot recommend these boots more. I will continue to purchase SV2 Tactical until Rocky ups the ante and makes the next improved model. Rocky for life, as long as quality and craftsmanship remain.

The best utility assault combat boot

Fantastic boots! They are comfortable, they keep my feet dry when working in even wet snow but when not outside in the winter they don’t make my feet sweat. Love them. Only thing I would change is add the zipper for fast on and off action.

Awesome Reliable Boots

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been buying boots every year because I tear through them and they fall apart until I started buying Rocky mountain boots I bought it once I've had it for a while now and I've put it through the ringer I wear them everywhere all over my Ranch I even wear them on vacation from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean, they get wet they get Sandy they get dirty and I absolutely love them they just don't fade or fall apart. I might have to buy another pair of a different style now that I found a boot that actually last and can take a beating. Rocky mountain boots I appreciate you guys and the quality work you do.

Best boots I've ever had.

Been wearing these boots a long time. Wearing everyday, they can last up to 2 years before holes start wearing through the soles bad enough they have to be replaced. My recent purchase must have been a one off, the left boot is noticeably smaller compared to the right despite being tagged as 10's. Reached out to the company and we will see how they remedy this.

Great boots for daily use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Second pair of these. They are a good boot. Like any good boot. Take a bit to break in. Im very had on footwear. Usually lucky to get a year out of any boots I buy. These seem to last a little longer than others.

I do recommend

Even though there are only two new boots in navy regs and the S2V's are probably slightly edge the Bellevilles, I still returned these. They are four pounds more than doubling the weight of the Oakley boots and aren't breathable—not to mention they are more than twice the price. This is a racket. Only buy these boots if you have to.

Below average

I really loved these boots when I was in the military but it seems the couple of pairs I went through in the last few years have not been quite the same. I've noticed they sweak and squawk a lot and this most recent pair feels like it's unglued and crunches below my feet.

Comfortable boot. But quality diminishing.

Real disappointment. The base of the boot hits right below my ankle bone and chafes all the time. Really wish I would have bought another boot. Expensive and uncomfortable. I hope they break in over time so that they won’t chafe right on my ankle, but I imagine these will probably end up in the trash.
