boots looked well made and really wanted to keep them, but they were the largest size they made and were just too small, so I still looking for a good pair of waterproof snake boots, the return process was really easy and my account was credited.  Super service will keep Rocky Boots in mind for my next purchase.

I bought these to wear in the late season because we get cold temperatures and deep snow. I know they will be great walking to my stand and sitting for a few hours.

Just what I needed

This review is on Rocky Red Mountain snake boots.  I see that there are very few reviews on this boot.  I just retired my Rocky boots after 11 years.  Faced with a challenge to replace them; read reviews on a lot of different boots.  Went to stores to try them on.  Finally decided to go with the brand I trusted the most, Rocky Brand.  I am glad I did.  They are so comfortable right out of the box.  While examining the boot, they are very well made and I feel they will give me great snake protection.  Very comfortable and I love the zipper on the back.  I would highly recommend these boots.  I think you will be shocked and impressed as I am.  The quality is impressive.

Nice boots

i have been wearing different brands of snake boots for many years and these have become my favorite so far. they broke in fairly quickly and are very comfortable now. i have worn them for two turkey seasons and one bow season and they are still waterproof. i dont worry too much about snakes, and dont have any testimony about that. i would recommend for anyone like me that wants a non-rubber, tall, waterproof, lace-up boot.

good boots

I love the boots but they are a bit rough 9n the toes and ankles trying to break them in. I've had blisters and leg cramps but once they are broken in they are amazing and holding up good

I got these with the zipper . Thinking 
I wouldn't have to lace the ten miles 
Of laces . Boy was I wrong thought if 
I wore them a bit . I could take them off 
Using the back zipper . Nope wish I would
Have got the Boa system I had those once
With the Cabela's boot they were wonderful
Please Rocky can I send these back and get the Boa boots .

Not easy on and off !!!!!

I bought these boots a few weeks ago, started breaking in around the house and short walks in the woods, SO far they are hurting my feet and may need more time to break in. I ALWAYS break in boots before I walk for hours in the woods !
QUESTION IS THE LEFT BOOT SEEMS TO BE TWISTED, OUT OF LINE compared to right boot . I have been wearing Rocky snake boots for many years with great results after break in , is this pair DEFECTIVE ,left boot stitched crooked ? ROCKY and customers , is anyone else having this problem  ?    PLEASE ADVISE

Defect ?

I bought these boots because they were waterpoof, snake proof, and had laces to snug them. Initially I bought the prolight boots, but given the reviews which showed leaking issues I tested them in the sink and sure enough they leaked. I then bought the red mountain boots given their 1 year waterproof warranty. They passed the sink test, but about 2 hours after wearing them, they started to leak, first on the right, then the left. I received a second pair, but they folded in an odd way and kept pinching my outside ankle. I'm sending them back and moving on to a different company.
