Has Written Warranty

If you're not prepared, a run in with any wild animal has the potential to turn ugly, especially with snakes. The Rocky ProLight Waterproof Snakeproof Hunting Boot will ensure your personal safety. They protect against most North American snakes; including rattlesnakes, copperheads, and coral snakes. To keep your feet, ankles, and lower legs safe, these hunting boots are designed with sixteen inches of snakeproof protection. Plus, they keep your feet dry in any condition. A full-grain leather outlines the Mossy Oak camouflage nylon, a material reinforces the Guaranteed Rocky Waterproof construction. The ProLight BioMech outsole provides traction and stability on uneven terrain, and the PU/Rubber outsole adds a second layer of defence against wet feet. Remain safe and dry in these snake proof boots.

I love these boots!!! Very comfortable and I use them for turkey hunting and working on the farm…very good for tucking my pants legs inside the boot to help keep ticks from covering me up and going up my pants legs!!! Highly recommend these!!!

Outstanding product!!!

rockyboots.com

Most comfortable boot I have ever owned I will definitely be getting my son a pair for Christmas

Boot

Most comfortable and supportive shoes I've ever worn. Don't even need to break them in. 100% recommend.

100% yes

I got them in just in time to start the SC turkey season and I've been super happy with them so far. I was worried they they were going to be a little rigid when I first took them out of the box. However once I got them laced up and on they have been extremely comfortable. I've had no issues with them in the first 15 miles that I've put on them. Looking forward to adding many more!

Just in time for Turkey season!

So far so good. I have only worn these boots for about an hour. At first they seemed snug but only after the first 30 minutes I noticed that they felt very comfortable and snug as in a good way.

First time purchasing

We ordered these to replace a different brand of Snake boots and they did not disappoint us at all.
They fit well right out of the box, feel very good on your feet and legs too.
I hope to never have to test them out against a viper but... I think they will do the job and then some.
I do like the looks of them too. They don't make your feet look real big when looking at them from the side or down on them.
I like them, very much.

Great feeling/looking boots.

My husband and I live in the middle of a national forest. He got me a puppy for Christmas and I started walking more around the land to exercise both of us. A couple of weeks ago on one of our walks I almost stepped on a rattlesnake while wearing sneakers. My husband purchased these for me so I would have more protection. I've worn them a lot since I received them and absolutely love them. They are comfortable, they don't hurt my feet. I recently told my stepson to purchase some.

Great boots

I bought these a few weeks ago and I got a size 7 since I wear a women's size 8. They fit really well and lace up great. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to tighten them up enough around the ankle and calf since they are men's boots, but I was pleasantly surprised! They do great. They still need a little breaking in at the crease on the top of my foot but I have no doubt they will get softer. They held up really well while I collected clams from a shallow stream, I worked the stream for about 20 mins with fast running water at calf level and they remained waterproof and warm.
I would whole heartedly recommend these boots. Plus my hubby thinks their sexy ;)

Very waterproof! Great boots.

I love these boots. They have been a great asset to my safety. Where I live snakes are a problem. This boot has saved me from a bite that would of been bad or worse, on more than one occasion. The only thing I would change is " go back to sowing the soles on instead of glueing " they stood up to a lot more wear.

Love them

Not enough experience with them for a fair review. So far, I only used them a couple of times for 5 mile hikes on a rocky mountain trail. They seem OK. They haven't been exposed to water yet so not sure how that will go. The right boot buckled (folded) a bit at the ankle and rubbed a raw spot on my leg at the buckle point but it was a continuous 5 mile hike that took about 4 and half hours plus the boots are new and it was 80 degrees so I expect once they get broken I will learn how to make that problem go away. I don't plan to wear them too much, only when snakes are active in northwestern Virginia and only when I walk in areas that are so overgrown that the walkway is not visible. So, if they do repel snake strikes, then I will be happy especially given the price point of the boots.

Not enough experience with them for a fair review.

Blowing up someone's email for a review after they've made TWO dissatisfied returns is a bold move. I was going to let it go, but since I continue to receive review requests, here we go! Firstly, there is no consistency to this product. They are clearly made overseas where the fitment guide/standard is out of whack. Size 9.5 were too small and 10 were too big (same sock and same foot). The glue/stitch work is sloppy and overall craftsmanship is subpar. Do yourself a favor and buy the more expensive ones you are looking at. Not these. Buy once cry once!

Yikes!
