The hint of polyester makes it so much more comfortable/breathable than 100% cotton.

Excellent at keeping the body cool and wicking sweat away.

Effective

Polyester not cotton but very nice. It is dressier than cotton and nice under a sports jacket.

The material is not soft like other polyester shirts.

Not soft

Overpriced, low thread count, sheer, over hyped.  This material had been around for a long time now.  Competitors- foreign and domestic are offering similar shirts for less cost and heavier duty/thicker thread count with only polyester ( like this poor excuse for a t-shirt) or combination synthetics including but not limited to spandex and elastin, that still allow for the shirt to breath, maintain body temperature, wick away moisture and include UV protection.  The picture and description of this t-shirt and similar, by Rothco, are mis-leading in that the picture and words don't show and describe the shirt's thin thread count, lack of material and sheerness- you can see through it!  Also the neck collar rib should be wider- it's only 1/4 to 1/2 inch in width all outbound the neckline.  It should be widened to 1 inch like the collar on JC Penny's Stafford white and black T's.  Don't be so frugal with the material, Rothco.  Do Not and Csnnot Recommend this manufacturer nor product in ANY color.
