[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in NC and it gets very cold. This coat fits perfectly and is So-so-so warm. I like it has side slit pockets to put your hands as well as deep side pockets for everything else. The hood it self is even insulated. The fur piece can be removed via buttons as well as can the hood when not needed. It's an all around great coat. If you're looking for something really warm and well made, this is it.

I was looking for a snorkel coat for a few years now but never found one I wanted to buy. I found this coat on sponsored on Walmart by another company with shipping restrictions. I purchased it anyway and I am in heaven. It is very heavy, cloth not glossy exterior and is perfect for the Northeastern weather. I am embarrassed to reveal how many coats I own but this one I were almost everyday!!! You cannot miss with his AWESOME COAT! I wish they had this coat in other colors.

Awesome  Parka

I was looking for a semi long coat for my son that lives up north where the temps drop down below 20, I came across this one, went ahead and sent it crossing my fingers he would like it, "He Loves It"!! , Its stylish, not real heavy that you can't move in it, keeps you warm and it's a great bargain !!!! Being a mom on a budget while trying to find something that your child would like is sometimes impossible , I hit a home run with this coat......

Awesome coat

Bought it for my son who works nights all year round.  I got tired of seeming him it these short coats that just barely cover the back pockets and nothing more. Especially in the winter when the temperature is 20 degrees or lower and it's snowing. He loves it and glad he got it.  It help to keep him warm and he can actually walk home during a storm without freezing his butt off and shivering.

A Smart purchase

The parka is very warm, we had temps in the teens right after it arrived and I only noticed it because my legs were cold. The only thing I noticed is the hood seems a bit big, but I never had a parka before and not sure if this is normal or not. 
Overall it is a good buy

Very Warm

Excellent for really cold weather, but a bit much for cool... it does run a little big so keep that in mind when ordering. I had pretty much the exact same parka when I was stationed in Alaska and was comfortable in nearly all lower temperatures and wind. Hood can be removed if you're inclined and it does have both zipper and buttons. So, while I'm not so much looking forward to the cold mid-west winter, at least I know I can handle being outside in this product.

Great for COLD weather

The Parka was accurately advertised and would be a great Antarctic Parka however I had forgotten how heavy these Parkas are. It was made very well but I had to return it. I am up there in years and with the arthritis in my shoulders and arms I realize I needed a lighter jacket. I would recommend it to someone working outside because it will keep you warm.

This is a military style Parka and made very well

Needed a new coat for cold Vermont winters and this fits the bill. Warm, comfortable. Roomy enough for an extra sweater.
