Very easy to setup. Comes ready to work in its packaging. I recommend using some form of rabbit/guinea pig feed mix to catch ground squirrels. Our pest control guy recommended using peanuts. I didn't have any success with those. Switched over to a corn/seed/peanut mix and it's worked like a charm! 4 squirrels in 2 days. Throw some bait outside of each door, with the trail leading to the center of the cage. The traps are easy to move around and clean when needed.

Nothing to dislike.  Have tried three other live traps for squirrels, none of which always worked or withstood squirrel attempts to chew their way out.  Should have gotten these in the first place.

Does the job

The traps are exactly what I was expecting. I ordered the 4 pack and only received 3. I called and spoke to Joan... two days later I had the missing trap. Excellent customer service!

Must buy if you have squirrel problems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just set this up in my moms attic to catch the animal running around up there. It came already put together and ready to use. We sprinkled some cat food inside the trap and on the outside and propped the doors open. So easy to use and great quality. I love that it is a humane way to trap and release up to 25 squirrels. It is also very lightweight and so easy to handle. It is compact so doesn't take room to store.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we first set this up in our yard we didn't get very much results right away. We had to mess around a little bit with different types of baits such as peanut butter, cheese, crackers and anything else we thought would attract the squirrels. But once we got the right bait down boy did they sure come right to the trap. We were able to easily get rid of about 10 squirrels a day and transport them to their happy home at a farm up the road. The product came semi put together we only had to do a few things to get it situated and it was really easy. My kids absolutely enjoyed and had so much fun with this product. The only downfall was they wanted to keep every single squirrel we trapped for a pet! I would highly recommend this product to anyone that has an overabundance of squirrels that they want to safely and humanly get rid of.

One of the traps was completely missing the entry door so it was unusable.  Then unable to return only defective one.  So basically, you pay double for single trap.
