Color is true to that advertised. It's nice and thick. A good buy for the price.

True colors

The rug is a very soft wool but the black rug I received  has a lot less of the tans/taupe colors than I expected and a lot more pink, lavender and green.  It still blends with my furniture so I don't hate it and it'll probably grow on me with time. 

I almost bought the same rug through an on-line rug company for about $300 more....but it wasn't in stock. In fact, it wasn't in stock at another on-line rug company either.  I kept looking and discovered Walmart sold it ...for a lot less!  The order was delayed and it showed up without any warning via email.  I felt sorry for the poor Fed Ex driver who had to walk the 8 x 11 rug around my cars and up my deck steps.  If I'd had advance notice I would've moved one of my cars. Kudos to the driver.

All in all, an extremely good buy for a large Aubusson style wool rug.
