I ordered a size up in case I decide to do layers when weather is cold, like today. There is more than enough room for added layers. Even with out those added layers this NO hood  ¼zip sweater is great. The pocket is a standard hoodie style, not two separate ones. Plenty of room to carry phone, wallet, keys, and a 16oz water bottle p!he gloves and or hat. Might look funny with all that stuff in there but you could still do it.
   This is my second one and it feels good and comfortable. I have plenty of hooded sweat shirts. They don't have that convenient zipper to get to my shirt pocket which is where I like to carry my wallet.
   The warmth of this is also a good factor. I can toss this on Over a regular short sleeve shirt and be just fine. If it is colder out I'll wear a long sleeve shirt then throw this on for the added warmth. Either way,  it's about how YOU want to feel. I like wearing these when watching the tube. The "no hood" makes this way more comfortable to lay down on. No lump under your neck.
   O.k. The only thing I'm not to enthusiastic about, is the blue color. No points off.  THIS blue is just a little brighter than I thought it would be. I think it will mellow out after a few washings. It is somewhere between royal blue and dark blue. This is why it looks brighter to me. 
   Overall, Russell sweats are great. Been buying them for years. They tend to hold together rather well. This will be used for outdoor activities/work. So this poor thing will see abuse. Dirt,oil,grime,mud and grass. Probably even more than that. I work lawn care and custodial.
   Enough said, this old Jarhead says, "buy it".

I love this 1/4 Zip. Well made, substantial fabric. Nice fit, not too loose, not too tailored.  Russell makes great sweatshirts, period. All at a great price!

This was just what I was looking for. Good thickness, nice fit. Needs washing before wear, it shedded black lent on my shirts until I did. No complaints.

A black pullover zipper neck only

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Disappointed in the sizing of the 1/4 zips. XXL was great a few years back and still fit great. This year XXL way smaller, real tight in the arms. Tried 3XL and 2 of three were good but the third (heather gray) felt and fit like a XXL.

Bad Sizing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Dri-Power Fleece 1/4 Zip! The fit is perfect and the comfort is amazing. I own three of these and only wish they were offered in more colors. Russell offers amazing quality at an excellent price.

Dri-Power Fleece 1/4 Zip

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Mens Dry-Power Fleece 1/4 Zip is fast becoming my favorite outerwear for the cooler Fall weather.  I chose the XL for my 5-11 195lb frame and am pleased with the sleeve length. waist length and comfort in the shoulder and chest area.  I've found the zippered neck allows for ventilation on days that start cool but then begin to warm up.  The almost invisible large pocket stretches from pocket to pocket across the front of the shirt and was deep enough to carry gloves, keys, glasses and other miscellaneous items I needed throughout the day.  I enjoy wearing this shirt, It seems slimming on me and it looks good for social activities, work or play. I'm going to be checking it out in other colors to add to my wardrobe.

Great Fit, Versatile, Practical, Feels Great

I have been buying this 1/4 zip every 2-3 years ... very satisfied with quality ... wish there were more colors though.

It fits great and is super comfy, but the only problem is after you work out the clothes leave little fuzzy wuzzy all over your body.
