The Banting Collection is made from richly-grained solid Rubberwood. This mid-century modern industrial collection has a clean angular metal base, with square, simple modern drawer and table top. With no visible hardware, and only simple wood pull handles, the solid Rubberwood top, is simple and uncomplex. The Banting Desk has two large working side drawers with ball bearing drawer glides and one centre flip down drawer/keyboard tray to maximize functionality. The 24" x 72" size is large enough for a well appointed executive home office for a desk that can really handle the workload. I bought two to make my own L-shape desk. I love the mid century look and have been looking for longer desks for awhile. These desks are the perfect size for my space and very easy to put together! One corner was a little damaged but not too bad to be upset about. I would recommend this beautiful desk(s)

This is a very sturdy desk. It's quite heavy which makes it feel high quality.The Walnut veneer on the top seems very "believable" and of decent quality. The 3 drawers slide very smooth.

Setting up the desk was pretty straightforward. You assemble the metal legs and attach that to the top. I'd recommend 2 people to help flip the desk over after finishing the setup.

Great desk

I wanted a white home office desk that had plenty of work surface and was not a huge, heavy looking monstrosity. This desk is all of that and is sleek, attractive, and PERFECT!!!! I could not be happier with it!!!!! I searched a long time for such a desk and was elated to have found this desk!!!!!

Perfect Home Office Desk!!!!!

I purchased this desk (in white) for my home office. I was very happy with the quality of the construction and materials when it arrived. The desk was well packaged and the assembly instructions were straightforward. The wood top is very heavy (as it should be!) so I was thankful not to have to move it up any stairs. Plan on having a strong helper ready of you need to get this up to a second level. Hoping the matching bookshelf is available in white sometime soon! I would not hesitate to purchase more furniture from this company.

Great Desk

Very pleased with this purchase. Well constructed and heavy weight. I had to work with simpli-home customer service on a previous purchase. They were great to work with.

Solid

Overall, this is a solid desk with pretty dark walnut colors. It came packaged very well so there was no scratches or anything. The only con was that the metal base holes did not match completely with the top desk part, that there was no way to secure the two thoroughly. I can still use it but it wobbles and shakes. I still give 4 stars as I think I just got a defective item based on other great reviews.

Better than expected

Desk was damaged in two places. Despite being solid wood, the off gassing is still overt after a week. Otherwise, easy to assemble and works as it should.  Disappointed overall.
