It's a good head board for what I'm using it for. The price was reasonable and the head board serves the intended purpose.  For under $100.00 this unit works very well.

I purchased this head board for my queen size bed.

The headboard overall looks nice, for the price it's worth it. However when we put it together we attached it to our South Shore Basic queen platform bed (after I clarified with their customer service that it will fit properly) and it only attached to the base of the bed with 4 screws. We put it against the wall but since we have (as I would assume most households) baseboards, the headboard would not touch the wall and it would wobble. The screws and the base of the bed are so low to the ground and he headboard is so tall that thee is no way it would get enough support. If we leaned against the headboard it would rip it right out and break. So we had to do some adjustments. There were three pieces of leftover wood they sent us with the bed so we glued stacked them and hot glued and taped to the back of the bed just enough so it would touch the wall and get enough support. As much as it looks great I don't think normal headboards are suppose to work this way...

Nice headboard with one big problem

This headboard looks just like the photo and is very attractive. However, it is a bit flimsy and probably would not withstand years of everyday use. I purchased it for use on our queen bed, which we plan to replace within a few years with a king, and I think it will be perfect for that limited time period. It really would be ideal for a guest room.

As other have mentioned, keep in mind that the hardware provided is designed for platform beds. You have to buy your own nuts and bolts to attach it to a standard bed. It took me a while to put together, but it wasn't too difficult.

Great for Temporary or Guest Usage

Easy to assemble. Drawings in directions should be printed in black instead of gray. Harder to see when you don't have 20/20 vision.
Also, if you are attaching to a metal bedframe you better buy bolts before you start. They are not included. It is shipped with screws to attach it to a platform frame.

Good value

Item was harder to setup then they made you think. Takes 2 people to set up. Some holes had to be drilled a little. They were only half way through. After it is together it looks good for the price.

It was simple to put together. All the pieces were included and nothing was broken or chipped. It shipped well. It makes my bed and dresser perfectly. However, when we attached it to the bed, the headboard was very wobbly and not sturdy. The screws to attach it to the bed were not long enough to properly attach it. They would not hold the pieces together. So we had to go out and buy better, longer ones. My husband also drilled new holes. Once we attached it with the better screws and washers, the head board was still wobbly, so we screwed in two more screws to secure it. The headboard still wobbles a bit but nothing like before. Also, the headboard is really tall for our platform bed. It stands much higher than our mattress. For the price I guess this is a good purchase, just know that you have to use it with a platform bed and that you may have to use other hardware to secure it to the bed frame.

Looks good but not as good as expected

It is a nice looking headboard, however their are some assembly problems.  #1 calls for a Robertson screwdriver.  What homeowner has a set of Robertson's.  Luckily I had a friend who did.  Should use Phillips head screws.  #2 the last cam lock to be installed falls slightly below a piece which means you have to loosen all the upper screws and dowels, and pry back on the headboard to install the cap.  #3 the screws are slightly too long.  I snugged one down and it went right through the front of the headboard.  Fortunately it is low in the center and will be hidden by the pillows.

Manufacturer needs to correct some problems

I bought this for a guest room. Went together easily but this was supposed to be for either a full or queen frame. Did not / does not work for a full frame. We had to drill new holes just to get it attached. Will use it until I can find what I really want and then this will be donated. Worst $90 I've spent in a long time. So disappointed.

Horrible!

I would not recommend this product. It is very cheaply made and looks cheap. I will be returning it.

It was cheap and build the same way CHEAP.

Bought this for a full size bed. Says it's for a full/queen, but it can really be used for a queen bed. Good news is that Walmart made it very easy to return.
