The rug is beautiful and fits in my bedroom by my bed, seashore effect with my decor. I really do like the quality of it. The only thing I didn't like at first was the smell of it after it being wrapped in two sheets of plastic. Smelled moldy. But after two weeks the smell is gone.  Jute probably doesn't like to be wrapped in plastic. I think jute needs to breath.  I am happy with it.  It is heavy 4x6 ft.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a far better rug than I anticipated. Very thick quality rug. It came perfectly rolled with no creases. Just unrolled it and it is perfect!

I normally go by reviews but this didn't have any so I took a chance. SO happy I did!! First thanks Walmart. I was not expecting this until late next week and to my surprise it arrived in two days. Being only 4x6 I was surprised at how heavy it was. Packing was great and rolled out nice. When I got it under my dining table I truly fell in love. It's about an inch or inch and a 1/2 thick and is a basket weave. Looks like I paid WAY more for it!! I was worried after I first saw it in person because I have two cats. I thought it was immediately going to be a big scratch post for them. They checked it out and moved on to their norm. Not even interested, which I'm thrilled about. I'd give 10 stars if I could.

Perfect jute rug!

The rug was much thicker than the photo displayed. I absolutely love it!! I ordered for outside my door in a covered area. When it arrived I put it inside instead...and then ordered a second!! You can't beat the price. Great quality for the price!!

Better than expected!!

It was the right color , but a little too stiff for what we were looking for.

DO NOT BUY THIS RUG, unless you don't mind replacing your floor!!!  First it sheds constantly, so you will be vacuuming daily.    Then when I lifted the rug and pad up to clean underneath I was shocked!   There were huge piles of dirt and dust.  After vacuuming and then dry mopping , I saw the floor was damaged/discolored all around  the perimeter of the rug but especially where the fringe is on both ends.   Cleaning did not help. These marks are permanent.  What caused this --dirt, chemicals, dye???  The rug is useless and my floor is ruined.  I am so disappointed.   Don't make the same mistake I did.

This rug is very dirty ! Its as if they make it in the Desert during a windstorm ! Also smells bad ! This is unfortunate because it is a pretty rug .

I wouldnt buy for indoor use !!

While I love the look of the rug, it did smell for months. The smell has gone away, but it sheds like crazy. I knew that buying a jute rug, there would be a chance of shedding but I've bought others that haven't shed as mich as this one. Again, the look is great, but I wouldn't suggest buying because the fibers go everywhere.
