Maroon was hard to find

This is a beautiful, thick rug.  Feels luxurious.  I bought a small rug to see the color and feel of it compared to another rug.  It was a hard decision, but I went with the other rug.  This has a nice variegated color but I thought that in a big 9 x 12 size, it might look more like a carpet rather than an "interesting" area rug.   But...if the color is what you want, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this rug.

I like the carpet but I thought it would be softer and have a better cushion, but I could still feel the wood floor beneath my butt when I sat down. Also, the color mushroom didn't match the pictures on the website. And it has a funny smell. But I do like how it matches my apartment so I'm going to keep it. And because the threads are actually many different colors, it hides dirt easily.
