What’s old is new again in Safavieh’s Vintage collection of rugs inspired by the trend to recycling old carpets and over dyeing them in brilliant colors to camouflage stains and flaws. Each rug is power loomed in Belgium of 100% organic viscose yarn in a low cut pile to recreate the threadbare appearance of worn vintage carpets. Yarns are deliberately dyed unevenly to add old-world character to the collection’s classic Persian and Turkish designs.

Features:

Finish: Ivory and Black
Material: 72% Viscose, 15% Cotton, 13% Polyester
Power loomed construction

Specifications:

Overall Product Dimensions: 0.14" H x 29" W x 90" D
Overall Product Weight: 7 lbs

First off, I will say a little about myself. I am extremely particular about items I buy, especially online. I researched area rugs for weeks before purchasing this one. I can't find one thing that I don't like about this rug. The only thing that I was skeptical about, after reading reviews, was that the nap would get darker or lighter depending on how it was stepped on. It did that. But as one person said, just vacuum it a few times and it will blend into a beautiful antique shaded rug, like on the picture. It did! It is gorgeous!! No complaints from me!!

walmart.com

I love this rug and I like the feel of this rug on my bare feet. Well made in my opinion. If they made an 8'x8' or larger round rug a little thicker in this style and color I'd buy it too.

Happy Buyer Great Rug

The Safaveih Vintage rugs are excellent and the designs are so authentic. They are low-profile and are resilient. They also clean easily. I highly recommend this product.

Very rich looking rug

SAFAVIEH

I was pleasantly surprised. The area was nicer then I thought. Shipped with in 3 days.

The color was not as pictured (more of a dark gray) It shows movement, dark to light when you step on it or brush it in any direction.

Not what I was hoping for.

Looks great just like the picture. A little on the thin side.

This is a beautiful rug, but one of three came with defects.
