We got this for the bottom of our stairs to keep our 1 year old from climbing up them. We wanted something that would be easy enough for our 5 year old twins to open. We went through 3 other gates before finding this one -it's super easy to open and it closes by itself! Love it. 
It was also super easy to install.

sEEMS STURDY ENOUGH, BUT I CANNOT GET THE SIDES TO GO ON

NICE, STURDY, NEEDS PUT TOGETHER

We use this to keep our dog from going downstairs. Works great!

I bought this gate last week and am so glad that I did.  The magnetic door swings both ways and is so convenient.  It keeps our dog out of the living room and I now will be able to put up our Christmas tree and place the presents underneath without having to worry!  Recommend this gate.

Gate lock hardware has a design flaw. The safety button catches and sticks. I had to take the lock piece apart and sand a better angle on the piece that is catching. Once I did this the lock works perfectly. Other than this the gate works great and is sturdy.

Buttons were getting stuck making it super hard to open. If the buttons didn't get jammed this product would be great. But I could barely press them in

The latch is very finicky and very hard to open. We fixed it by taking it apart and adding some oil. The buttons are much easier to press now. I've seen other reviews on the latch having issues. Simply needs oil. Other than that, the gate is great. It's very sturdy and sleek looking.

Latch didn't work, it would get stuck and was extremely hard to open if we even could. Have this same gate but purchased a few years ago and loved it, latch still works smoothly after years of use.

The gate worked great for the first day but the locking mechanism is super sticky and now I literally cannot open the gate. Do not waste your money on this.
