I'm working on my 4th set of these boots and they are my daily year round wear. I get about three years out of a set and that will cover day hikes, backpacking with scouts, motorcycle riding, yard work, snow shoveling, etc. you name it, these are my go to boots. Comfortable to the point of forgetting I have them on and strong enough to handle anything my day throws at them.

Given that they're Gore-Tex boots rather than full leather, they're pretty durable. I have owned these for over a year now, and they are still holding up and are still waterproof. I used these boots extensively for a 4-month job, walking an average of 15km a day, as well as for many backcountry backpacking trips. I found that the rubber at the toe peeled away from the other material a bit; however, it did not completely peel off, and did not affect the boot's functionality. Additionally, as these boots are Gore-Tex, they have a short break-in time. I was able to break them in within two hikes.

Comfortable and Durable

I have many pairs of the shoes and decided to replace my Zamberlan boots with the Quest after my first 4 hikes.  They have been great so far on my hikes @tacohiking on IG and @hikingtaco on TT.  They fit better and the comfort is much better than my other boots.  They are a little larger than the shoes so went down 1/2 a size for fit.

Best boot never!!! I have very difficult feet to fit a shoe.. I bought extra wide boots from many different manufacturers. Quest 4 is wide enough and feels like supportive and comforting!!!!!!
These boots have already been to death of valley.. also these boots are completely waterproof!!!!

None better

Second pair. Very sturdy and great grip. Tight laces. Slightly different from my last model but no issues with water or quality. Takes long to break in.

Sturdy, durable and reliable.

These boots were made for my feet. Without a doubt the best boot I've ever worn. Comfortable and light. I wore them while I trekked to Everest Basecamp and the Inca trail. I loved them so much I bought another pair to have when and if my first pair ever fall apart. I've put about 1000 miles on them and they're still perfect. I really love these boots!!

Best boot ever!!

I just bought my fifth pair which should say a lot about the boot.  I buy a new pair every six months so that I have a "clean" pair, a hiking pair and a "work" pair.  I wear the heals out long before the boot itself.  I wish there more color choices and that they hadn't changed color of the "brown". Surprisingly they are fine for snow, being both waterproof and warm. Eventually Solomon will change or discontinue this boot, but until then, I will keep buying them.

Great hiking boots

Had these around 3 weeks now. Took longer to break in than previous pair but all good. 
A little heavy but I wanted them for the support more than anything and ankle support is great. 
Waterproof at the moment but not tested them against the True Welsh weather yet. 

Ordered half a size up. These would be perfect if they came in the extra wide fitting.

Quest 4 Gore Tex

I got these for my son, and was happy to see that they were available in 13.5 size - he has got big feet. The boot is very lightweight, comfortable and with a good grip. However, it barely withstood one season of intense hiking so I would highly recommend for light to medium use but if you are putting in the km / miles like my son did over this summer, they will be done in one season. These boots walked an intense season in the Rocky Mountain National Park, Columbia Ice Field in Alberta, and some Adirondacks before a whole was formed in one boot. To be fair, this also may have to do with the wid-ish foot that he has. Overall, great medium - intensity use boot, nice design, good grip.

Lightweight and comfortable, medium durability

Perhaps a different Country manufacturer but used to wear straight out of box. This is my fourth pair and the worst. It is like wearing a new pair of leather boots that need breaking in. Unfortunately it appears that the fit is all different and I really can't see a way around this. Tight over top of ankle and loose at toes.
