I love these shoes. Perfect for all my backcountry trips and fits my narrow foot well!

Best hiking boot!

I am a dog walker and HATE having wet feet so I bought these for the winter months. They were warm and truly waterproof.
Super comfy and treads were great for anti slipping and wear and tear. Honestly, I only buy Salomon after trying very different brand of shoes. I walk about 20km a day and Salomon's are the only ones that stand up to that distance and actually last.
Their soles are what make them stand out as they will last and not wear down: I was going through other brands that would only last 2 months before the soles were done: So happy with these and every other Salomon I've purchased so far. Definitely a must have for dog walkers!

Awesome boot

I am a Solomon newbie but man am I glad I tried them. Very comfortable shoes. I tried too many other brands to list and none fit my foot right but these did! The hardly needed breaking in. We did a 22mile weekend in the Grand Canyon and not one blister or foot pain. I found my lifelong brand.

Great Comfort

I've been purchasing Salomon hiking and trail running shoes for the past 20 years and these are by far my most FAVORITE pair. I often do 11-15 mile hikes over very rocky, uneven terrain and the cushioning in these shoes is superb as is the arch support, grip and overall stability. They are light and super comfortable from start to finish. Plus my feet stay dry through shallow stream crossings and don't overheat on warm days. Salomon, please don't change a thing about these hikers. Maybe just add some brighter colors?

Simply the BEST

Takes a fair bit to break in but worked out in the long run. Wide fit which is really hard to find. My only grip is the eyelits at the top stick out far too much. Women have more narrow gates then men, and if you are on a narrow path, especially coming down a mountain, these two inside top eyelits will catch each other. I nearly fell so many times. I had used them already so unable to return, so I got a hammer out and whacked them a few times to make them go more in. They are really tough so they only moved a bit but it seems enough to stop me tripping as much. Deducted one star for this. Salomon - please fix this!

Great wide boot

After almost 4 years my old hiking boots (Salomon) the uppers had started to get holes. I was excited to buy these again. I bought the exact same size but they strangely do feel a bit bigger? Not sure why but they are working perfectly and I am happily wearing them on my morning dog walks. Thanks!

New but a repeat customer

Review after approx. 10 hikes
The sizing is slightly inaccurate. These shoes are also not very comfortable in terms of cushioning. I'm disappointed because I expected more from my first pair of Salomon hiking boots.

Not quite satisfied

Very lightweight boot and waterproof boots. Unfortunately I followed the size advice and although usually size up stuck with my normal shoe size. Now 2 days into a 7 day walk and will loose at least one toenail if not two even after breaking them in.

Don't follow size advice!

I have had 2 pairs of these boots. The first pair split across the top and Salomon replaced under warranty, confirming there was a manufacturing fault. Second pair have split in same place, Salomon refuse to replace stating they leak because I haven't used waterproofing products on boot - more likely to be the big hole in the boot that is causing the leak.
