Honestly, I love this watch. My husband and I are die hard Samsung users in our household. We both have the original Samsung Galaxy Watch. After 3 years, like most devices with constant use, my battery slowly started to lose charge. I liked the Galaxy watch but I found it was just big and bulky on my wrist. Recieved a TON of compliments on it and my husband adores his, however I also found it difficult to work out with as well as heavy. I've had my eye on the Active2 for quite a while but couldn't justify buying it until I finally got sick of constantly charging my galaxy watch. I found the galaxy watch inaccurate with quite a few of the fitness trackers and sleep. Once I purchased the Active 2, I was instantly happier. The charge lasts tenfold longer than my galaxy watch, it's slimmer, way lighter and fits better on my wrist. The band is so comfortable and super easy to work out and sleep with. So far I found everything on point and just overall way happier with it. Not that I use the speaker on it but it works better than my galaxy watch did. Again, my husband swears by his Galaxy watch but he doesn't rely on his for fitness, work and the things I need in my smartwatch. I do suggest buying a screen protector obviously. Will most likely buy the upgraded model in the future if Samsung continues to make the Active line (which I really hope they do...), and I will definitely recommend to friends and family.

I got my Active 2 Samsung Galaxy Watch  40 mm Pink Gold Bluetooth.  Can't say enough about it.  I love it.  Keeps me fit and tracks all my needs. So glad I waited till Active 2 Samsung Watch to come out and so glad I ordered it.  I have shown and told my friends all about it.  They have the Fit Bit watches and are unhappy and are going to get a Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2 watch for Christmas.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this smart watch is everything is claims to be. i really do enjoy it. the only downfall of it is the battery life. i guess i'm used to charging my fitbit only once a week. now im having to charge my watch every other day. it's not a deal breaker but i do enjoy how it tracks your sleep and with a short battery life, it is difficult to enjoy all features all the time.

Amazing smart watch just wish it lasted longer

I bought this watch as I'd seen it on the market and fell in love with it l, whilst it was being delivered I decided to read the reviews and then began to doubt my decision however I've had no issues with the watch on my feet all day, knocked and banged it a couple times by mistake yet no scratches I love it i just wish Natwest would support samsung pay so i can use the NFC hence the 4 star

Watch was advertised incorrectly. It stated it could talk calls and messages via LTE, but when we received it, it was the bluetooth version.  Walmart does not carry the LTE version. Never used the watch and returned it. Too bad since my wife was looking forward to it

Incorrect Advertisement

Bought this on the day of release and loved it right out of the box. About a week or so ago, a software update broke some of the fitness tracking capability.

I have the watch synced to a Galaxy S10+ and everything I do as far as workouts is recorded on the phone's Samsung Health app so I know that part is working. However, looking at the watch it shows zero minutes for workouts and additionally, shows me active for 24 hours a day.

I'm hoping that since a software update apparently broke this, that one in the future will fix it.

Great hardware. Lousy Software

the watch isnt bad except it constantly unpaired from my device. sometimes while i was sitting next to it. speaker needs a volume control and i couldnt hear the person well. had to have the watch pretty much up to my mouth for them to hear me. the battery life sucks. i had to keep it on black and white battery saver mode to get any kind of battery life out of it. last night there was an update available.. after i clicked it my watch went crazy flashing a rebooting, then a black screen, then rebooting.. for the entire night until my watch died. wont turn back on. had this thing less than a year or around that. not worth the money i paid for it.

Fairly good watch until...

i love the watch, but am very disappointed in the battery life (i've gone through all the resetting steps to improve this, and it helped a little). i am also disappointed that when i researched this watch, nowhere did i read you have to have a samsung phone in order to use the ecg feature. so i paid for a watch and am basically told as an iphone user, that i have to also spend money to buy a new phone. the only reason i chose this over an apple watch was because i didn't want to spend as much.

Easy to Use

This watch checked a lot of boxes for me initially but I returned it after 2 weeks of owning.

The big issue for me was the heart rate sensor.  My HR sensor was inconsistent and possibly defective with differences of up to 40 BPM. This was confirmed at the doctor. The screen scratches way too easily as well and I recommend getting a screen protector. 

I would still recommend this watch for its other features as it's very comfortable and does many great things.

Great Watch But....

I bought this watch in December 2019 and love the look and feel of it. I wear it as a dress watch and take extremely good care of it so I was very disappointed last week when the workouts would continue recording so all of my health stats were incorrect. I never wear it to sleep but one morning when I put it on it showed that I had already bee. Active for 15 hours:( I sent it in for repair, and when I got it back today I'm still having the same issue. I called in, spent 50 min on the phone with a rep and was told I need to send it in again because they replaced the wrong part!  I am so disappointed....I've tried a few activity trackers and really loved this one while it lasted...but if it doesn't get fixed this time, it's going in the garbage and was a big waste of money!

I wanted to love it...
