I bought this tablet to replace a Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite that suddenly died on me without any warning signs at all. It seemed a perfect successor as it is essentially just a newer iteration of the older tablet.
It does everything I expected, even if the user interface is a little less intuitive and more annoying. Everything else, however, seems to be an improvement. I use it almost exclusively for watching Japanese-language videos while walking on a walking pad that I also bought from Walmart.
The screen is great, the sound as well, even if still like to use an older Bose neckwear for listening. So far, no genuine complaints and it I have already virtually forgotten the old tablet.
I just wish it would come with a user-replaceable battery. From an environmental standpoint, that would be a net improvement.

Great for learning languages

The Samsung 8.75" tablets are competent, smooth, swift, and offers a "handheld" feeling when texting and calling.
 I was impressed that the tablet included these features

The Tab A9+ was just what was looking. Its compact size and the operating features were just what i need.

Just the tab i was looking for

for a 8" tab with sim slot this is 5-star. I am retiring my 10-year old 10" iPad. There is a bit of adjustment going from iOS to Android, but not too bad once you get familiar with controls. Good battery life, excellent display size, crisp image, vivid colors. Sound is just ok, not the greatest. The best feature perhaps is making calls. I am using this tablet as a phone. A bit bulky to carry in a pocket , but with Bluetooth dialer and headgear it is awesome. It was so pleasant to get away from tiny screen of a pocket-sized cell phone.

neat little thing

I use this tablet for watching Japanese dubs while walking on my walking pad. I have attached louder computer speakers with the bass on minimum. The tablet is just big enough to be easy to see. I have also added a 512 GB memory card to store a decent number of videos. Everything works great. I have only two wishes for improvement:
1. The ability to replace the battery and a way to buy them
2. A satin/matte screen to eliminate annoying glare.

At the moment it is difficult to give a fair review, as this was purchased as a Christmas gift and as not yet set up.
