After 5 generations of android wear i am finally converted to Tizon and happy I did. This watch is incredibly responsive and very customizable.  
*** for someone who leaves a 1 star because this watch doesn't do blood pressure in North America is ridiculous.  If you need to check blood pressure a smart watch is not what you buy!

this is based on my 4-hours usage here is my personal observation (I will keep updating)

Pros

Watch 3 45mm looks a lot nicer/sleeker than the galaxy watch. the watch looks more modern

1. It's lighter and doesn't look bulky at all compared to GW

2. the buttons are way more sturdy comparing to GW

3. the screen is larger and more clear/brighter than GW

4. Software is smoother/faster opening different applications

5. The leather band looks super sleek

6. GW 46mm bands perfectly fit even the original GW band (I know its 22mm but I am referring to the original band that came with the GW)

7. new gestures to mute phone calls work really well. not sure if this feature made it to the older devices

Cons:

1. Bixby is awful and not usable. simple commands like texting someone is still not working and I am not sure why. Samsung just give us Google Assistance

2. Vibration motor feels a little bit weaker than GW (I was actually expecting better vibration motor but it's not better than GW. even when set to stronger vibration it still feels a bit weaker than GW

3. not all promised health features are enabled as of today

So far the looks, performance are the only two main points that I feel it's different from GW.

Sleek, Slimmer than GW, Modern, Classical

Why did you advertised such feature when you are not allowed to have them in Canada?  Btw the battery is just average or slightly below the standard. They also promoted over 80k selections of watchfaces but the majority is junk or paid. I m already paying a premium for the watch. Do we deserve a better watchface? But I do agree the over built quality is good.

No ECG No Blood Pressure

The Watch 3 is beautiful but unfortunately I had to return the Watch 3. There were 3 major influencing factors in returning the watch 
- poor battery life (half of current battery life of my original Galaxy Watch which I have been using over 3 years)
- Not being able to disable the wakeup gesture using Do Not Disturb as I can with the original Galaxy watch. On my original Galaxy Watch I have the Do Not Disturb on a schedule so that during the night my watch doesn't wake unless I double tap the display. That way it doesn't blind/wake my baby when I'm moving around at night. This is a huge regression for me (and also for others as mentioned the Internet when I tried Googling for a solution). 
- Samsung doesn't offer a non-leather option for the band. Couldn't find decent aftermarket ones either.

Great looking, but poor battery life, and more

Very disappointing watch, minor upgrades from previous model, no silicone strap, Very WEAK BATTERY LIFE, yes its slimmed down and lighter, not worth the investment,  I Have already contacted samsung to return the watch, I highly recommend watch active 2 over this watch 3

Not so great

I used to have the Gear s2 frontier and I had that for about 3 years till I lost it. Bought the 45mm top of the line. Lets just say in 12 months Ive had 6 yes 6!!! different watches. First one broke when I took it swimming despite saying its waterproof. Second stopped working after falling from waist height. Third 4th and 5th stopped working after 2-3 months each (screen turns black and stops responding) and now the 6th one I just bought 1 month ago broke. Im going to apple

Not as good as Previous watches

Give the price point, the core features like Sp02, Blood pressure monitoring, ECG etc. are not yet enabled in Canada, it is not worth the price. If you dont care about (1) the above mentioned features & (2) the money you will spend on a watch that do not have advertised features, you should be good. I believe other watches in Canada (apple etc.) have these features enabled after getting approval from Health Canada. Hope Samsung Canada is able to do this.

Watch 3 - Core features missing in Canada

Not much difference from series2. Says its a serious fitness watch and no mention of blood pressure monitoring like it said, as well as STILL no heart monitor as promised for series 2. So all promises and no development. Has a fall monitor in case you don't know you fell over. Remember how quickly series 1 was replaced. 
Would not recommend until software catches up, or ridiculous price adjusted down as there are NO further enhancements or improvements that are truly worthwhile.

Buyer beware .....

reviews, but had not realized that sSp02 and blood pressure monitoring was not included.  So the watch is useless to me and I am back to using my old Note 8 to monitor my health.  (They dropped those features in the later Note models, so am stuck! - BTW, you have to downgrade the the upgrades on the Note 8 to keep those wonderful features)  Isn't this going backwards?

Check the features before you buy

A disappointing upgrade from last generation. Yes it's still nice, smaller and lighter and yet, with a slightly bigger and beautiful display. But the hardware hasn't improved much. Moreover, the battery is smaller, with a shorter life. And it isn't cheap. All bass added, this watch is a disappointment. Sorry Samsung, not worth my money. I'll stick to my Galazy Watch first gen until you come up with something worth that much money!
