Provides heart rate monitoring and sleep insights.

Offers detailed heart rate monitoring features.

Can last a day with moderate use, but drains quickly with heavy features.

I upgraded from my Galaxy Watch 4 to get the newest health sensors. As a senior, every moment is precious. The Galaxy Watch 8 supports my physical/mental health routines. Tracking my heart health is so important. Every senior should have one/

A Senior's Best Friend

Samsung Canada

I bought Watch8 along with Fold7 offer but its really great with modern floating design of the dial. Been using to monitor my health for steps, heart beat and now my sleep. Till now its accurate and helps me to be productive and conscious about being active. Battery should have been little more lasting but that's not a problem as I charge it very often. Can access all my apps through watch which is great. Overall very happy with my Watch8. Thanks Samsung.

Great for everyday life!

I have the 40mm LTE version of the Samsung Watch8 and really appreciate the ability to be in contact even if my phone is not nearby. The one thing that Samsung could improve is the size of the watch. I have very small wrists and find the watch too large. The face itself spans the width of my wrist so the watchband sits about half an inch away where it connects to the watch. But thanks for making the watch thinner. Please consider producing a smaller version. I'm sure many other women would thank you for it.

Smaller please

grate watch over al but the heat monitor is something to be desired.

the heart rate. and blood pressure even after calibatration is always lower the a acutal arm pressure unit. the sleep monitor thinks i'm light sleep at night even though i just lying there in bed...

grate watch, heath feautesare are in accurate

Tyler

As others have said, the battery life is an issue. Less than 2 days. I knew that going in, but purchased anyways because of the extra features other watches don't have.
What I am really annoyed about is that fact that I bought this watch under some false pretenses.
In doing my research, I saw that I could download the Samsung watch app on my android phone to access all the features.
Well, as it turns out, I can not use the specific features I bought this watch for as they are not compatible with my phone (EKG and bp). So I spent more money on a watch with a shorter battery life and unusable apps.
This is very frustrating and I thought I had researched my purchase fully. This should be made clear in the information available.
This issue will definitely influence any future purchasing choices I make.

Unusable features

Coming from Galaxy Watch 7. Slimmer design and One UI 8 makes best combo. I like these bands but have to start a new band collection. Still battery is same as previous one. Samsung loves cutting features on base models. (RIP S26 base)

Second best circular in a square thing after pizza

Battery runs out too quickly. I don't know if the heart rate monitor is running in real time but when I was running it was displaying a resting rate and not an elevated heart rate. I had to stop running and tap the heart icon to get the actual HR. Nuisance

Average

I purchased the watch as a Christmas present for my husband. After wearing the watch for 6 days the battery life was not improving. The most you will get for battery life is 1.5 days with all features turned off. This makes it an expensive digital watch. Very disappointed when comparing to Garmin's that he was getting an average of a 6 days battery life. I do not recommend purchasing this watch especially if you currently have a Garmin and are thinking of trying a Galaxy watch.

Very poor battery life.

I received this as a gift a little over a month ago and have a mixed opinion on it.

The capability of it, the apps for it, and the use for it is great, definitely lots of potential.

My biggest gripe is the battery. It doesn't last more than a day, unless power saving mode is on and everything ongoing setting is off. Very disappointed in that aspect.

Cool features, disappointing battery.

Am always a big fan of samsun but this model of galaxy watch is one of the worst by far! It's all because of the Battery!!! You have to charge it ai don't know like 2 or 3 times a day!!!! So that is why I returned it and it is not worth the money! And I don't know why Samsu g will allow this kind of issue! I feel like they didn't even tested the device!

Terrible on Battery life
