[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I could give this desk 4.5 stars as I love every bit of it with the exception of one thing.  I already had some Sauder Aspen Post office furniture in Prime Oak, but the desks in that collection were above my budget.  I was so happy to find this nice corner desk to match.  Sauder is one of the original flat-pack furniture companies in the US and while they were looked down on for many years as a result, they've really risen to the top.  Everything is a bit over-engineered, the instructions are easy to understand, I love that you can hold the screw up to the actual size diagram on the page to ensure you're grabbing the right one, I love that it comes with plastic stickers to cover any visible hardware, and the finishes really stand up to water and other forms of abuse.  I am a 50 year old woman and I assembled this by myself.  There were a few times where it was difficult to lift or hold big pieces on my own, but I survived.  The hardest part of the assembly process was hammering in the mitered molding pieces--but any other company would not have mitered them and, once in place, they look perfect.  

My only complaint is the drawer above your lap when sitting at the desk--it is too low, and the piece holding it in on the right side is not rigid enough.  I kept bumping it with my legs and setting it off-kilter and have just removed it rather than deal with this.  There had to have been a better way to hang this!

Perfect--except for that darn drawer!
