I use it in my home office.I also bought the matching desk. I love the size and it is built well. No problems with putting it together. The directions are very  easy to follow. Only problem I had was the color (cherry) was not available and I had to wait for a restock, but it came in as promised.

Love my Llibrary with doors!

This library was purchased to go into our home office with our new L shaped desk. Putting it together was a breeze and it will be the perfect accent piece. As a father of a very adventurous 2 year old, I really appreciate that it comes with an anchor system to fix into the drywall.

Perfect Compliment to L Shaped Desk

I put this together alone in about 2. 5 hours. Im not the handiest person but the instructions were very simple with easy to understand illustrations. The bookcase looks much more expensive than I anticipated. It has a nice weight that feels secure and compares in quality to a similar piece I was almost willing to pay 4x as much for.

Looks much better in person

I plan to store family photo books in it at present. My office is decorated with Hawaii memorabilia, so the somewhat rustic appearance is great. When I get the desk, I may send a photo. Such a pleasant room! Instructions and labeling were very adequate.

Yes, I would buy this product again.

Great bookcase so far. I ordered 2 and one came in great condition. The other had two parts that was chipped and/or was crushed during packaging. I could of assembled the 2nd without issues, but I know Sauder has a great warranty and it was quick to reorder those parts online. Unfortunately we didn't notice both defects at the same time and are still waiting on the 2nd piece as I just ordered it. Regardless, I know that once the bookshelves are fully assembled they will be great. The first one was easy to put together with clear instructions and it took my husband and me about 1 hour to complete with one always working ahead. The color is magnificent and really enhances my ocean blue walls and black fish tank. I plan to add the matching desk to my bookshelves as soon as it is back in stock. I am also considering the lateral cabinet to complete my look. I brought my current desk, from Sauder, about 12 years ago and although it has seen better days it is still holding strong! Needless to say, Sauder provides quality products and excellent service.

Even with Defect, Still a 5 Star Product

I like the color/finish coordination with the desk and file cabinet.  Needs to be at least 4" deeper for legal size paper like most other bookcases.  Doors don't completely close due to this.

Nice product

I use it as an office bookshelf. Some pieces are not labeled, but if you are moderately talented you can figure it out. I had to modify some pieces where pre-drilled holes did not line up. In saying this, it was relatively easy to put together in about 3 hours.

I would buy this bookshelf again

I have purchased Sauder products before. I have office furniture I have had for at least 10 years, and it still looks great. These new bookcases are a different story. They are definitely more weathered than vintage. They are very poor quality. They are advertised as a library bookcase, but you cant put books on the shelves. They are too thin. I suppose they would be ok if you had 1 or 2 paperbacks and a picture frame. Even the fasteners are of a poorer quality than they used to be. I was really disappointed, especially given they cost over $300 each. I dont think I would consider buying from Sauder again. I will say the shipping was fast, but thats really the only good thing I can say.
