This is a beautiful piece. The engineered wood looks like the real thing. The kit arrived 3 days after ordering. Sauder always makes great kits that go together smoothly. I am a 71 year old female. I put the piece together myself. The only help required was for turning it over to apply the backing and then picking it back up and placing it where it needed to go. I am more than pleased with it. The cubbies are larger than my old Sauder kit, so accomodate large books and binders, and the maple finish sets off my collections of artsy things beautifully. A perfect, economic addition to my living room. Economic and classy!
