I use these to fuel my kerosene heater in my garage.  The spout is sturdy and screws in lock tight.  I have never had them leak.  The handles also make it very easy to use if you don't have a siphon.

love this container better than the older ones for sure.  I think the 24.95 price is over priced , but,  Walmart is still  cheaper than Home Depot,  Lowes,  and Amazon.

Real Easy to Use

This Kerosene Fuel can performs well as a way to store and transport Kerosene fuel. I'm not crazy about the way you have to push in and hold the safety plunger in the funnel while fueling. It makes it awkward to transfer fuel when one hand is holding the can, and the other has to keep the plunger engaged. I get it... it's a safety/anti spill feature, but I miss the old flexible tube stored in the can that didn't have any anti spill feature at all. The good thing is the can has two handles so once you have begun fueling something you can change to the second handle as the container rotates forward.  Still a challenge when you have to keep the plunger engaged. It's more of a stop... reposition... and start again kind of a thing. The rectangle shape makes it less likely to tip over like the traditional Jerry can body style containers. Since there is no old school long flexible filler tube, you will need to use a funnel for most applications.

Two hands are good, three would be better

The container is easy to fill and easy to pour. It appears to be durable.

I thought that this kerosene tank could be filled, placed on a shelf, and then dispensed through the nozzle.  The 'nozzle' part of this tank may be very safe, but it was overly complicated to make work so I returned it and went back to using a manual siphon or a funnel as I had been doing.

Not what I expected

Can is thinner plastic than typical fuel cans, and packaging was just a box so it got partially crushed during shipping.

I bought this kerosene container and went and filled it up only to my surprise that there was a pinhole sized leak in the handle on the side of the container… This thing is brand new and now I have to deal with a container of 5 gallons of kerosene with a pinhole leak on the handle… Completely unacceptable
