The initial transition to natural deodorant takes a few days so do it on a weekend rather than Monday morning. As your body rids the toxins deposited from regular deodorant use, it can smell. I promise it goes away for good after 48-72 hours. And you'll never look back. I say this to set your expectations realistically so you don't second guess your good decision to switch. This charcoal magnesium is my favorite scent after trying few scents. I spent years using prescription deodorant and considering Botox injections from over perspiration. All of my issues seemed to be resolved by making the switch to Schmidt's natural. Even though it's not an antiperspirant I find that it no longer matters. Gentle enough for my sensitive skin. Gets the job done without clogging my body up with heavy metals and toxins. I also prefer ordering directly from the website to ensure freshest products, and it's usually cheaper than in store!

It actually works. I've tried basically every brand of deodorant out there, including women's, dry and gels, and NONE ever worked for me. I even tried rubbing alcohol on there to no avail, and even did the lemon juice thing (which only lasted a couple hours, but that just wasn't cutting it. Then someone recommended I try a charcoal based deodorant, used this, and forever saved my horrifying pits problem.

It lasts me all day long, and I'm never using anything else.

Nothing worked but this.

So, I'm a nurse...I work in a high speed,  high stress environment to begin with, then add wearing a mask for 8 hrs in a row...this deodorant is UNREAL!! I mean, I'm not a sweaty stinky mess despite my numerous job duties! It has been a complete godsend!! I'm so happy that I've just ordered more...this deodorant is a lifesaver!

Unbelievable protection!

About a year ago, I started having skin reactions to my deoderrants. I didn't understand why, but I quickly decided to try different brands until I found one that worked. Itchy underarms and red sores on the skin just isn't fun. I tried I believe three brands. Schmidt's was the first one that didn't give me the horrible skin reaction. I was so thrilled! My Mom had a stick and have it to me to try and it worked great. So when that one ran out, I got two more. So far I am loving them. I have the Rose and Vanilla and the Lime and something. Both work great!

Really like the deodorant.

After use the Charcoal and Magnesium deodorant for a month the deodorant defiantly controlled underarm odor and sweating. I will be ordering the product again.

ODOR & SWEAT control

I wanted to switch from Dove Men's to something all natural and tried this. I'm pleased to say the Water+Wood and Charcoal are my absolute favorite. Girlfriend seems to have noticed my switch within a day and also agrees. She took my charcoal one

WORTH IT

I have been using the Schmidt's Charcoal-Magnesium product for about a month.  I work out several days a week and the product works excellent with body odor and perspiration.

Great Product

I'm excited to have a natural deodorant that works well and has a great scent! However, it has some weird balls of stuff in it and it seems like the more I use it the worse it gets. I have to wipe all the little balls of stuff off of my armpits each time. I like the deodorant, but I haven't decided if I would buy it again.

Works well but has some bugs

Quality has gone done since they were bought out.  Labels on crooked, consistency of the product is not a smooth as it used to be.  Still a decent product, but Disappointed in the degrading quality and it's way too expensive for what it is.  About to go back to making my own as the cost for what I'm getting is now not worth the time savings of making my own.  I'll just make mine in bulk

This USED to be the best deodorant Schmidt's made but they changed the formula and now it's not half as effective as it used to be!!!
I thought I had found my holy grail of natural deodorant and would be a Schmidt's customer for life but with the new formula my search for a good natural deodorant continues and I'm very sad about it.
