Always loved this inexpensive omega-rich fish that is great for the entire family :) it's good for kids because it doesn't have that very strong fishy smell you get from mackerels etc…

Nothing inherently wrong with the product but there should be a warning the basa fat makes it taste nothing like processed basa fillets. The basa fat is extremely odorous.

Good product just not for most people

The frozen fish was coated with a thick layer of oil which cannot be cleaned off before cooking. It had completely seeped into the fish, and even after cooking, the fish does not smell/taste like fish, but smells like the oil that coated it. Not sure what oil it is (since the ingredients list on the product does not list anything except fish), but it smells and tastes like pork lard that had gone bad.
