I love it but received a open packets with marked a bit dry and someone had written on the back of box packaging was open when left at me doorstep not to thrill about that's but is a good product overall

I use the gold Sharpie pens a lot. They are not the shiny yellow gold, but a more deep antique gold that is more realistic. Which is why I use them so much. The best price was from Walmart, also the best selection. I was able to buy 12 gold Sharpies for the lowest price. Also the only seller that sold me 12 of one color. All else I would've had to buy three with each color different. Not cost effective nor what I wanted. Overall very impressed with the product, which obviously haven't set on a shelf too long, therefore dry. These will last a while!  As close to perfect as possible.

I make wine and rather than going to the trouble of making labels, I used the silver pen straight on the bottle. Wrote the type of wine, year, and VOBA 13 Months on each bottle. VOBA is short for virgin oak barrel aged. I did 5 1/2 cases and there was no sign that the pen was close to empty. It was easy to use, looked good, dried almost immediately, and when I want to reuse the bottles for another wine it should come off a lot easier than scraping labels. I haven't tried all the colors yet, but I don't have any reason to think the others won't write as well. Perhaps some have purchased old stock, or the cap wasn't put on securely, or like one reviewer wrote maybe the pen was stored with the top in a downward position. An excellent product at a very good price and free delivery. Couldn't ask for more.

Writes beautifully, perfect for wine bottles

Have used sharpie brand for years- for crafts and for labeling on black lids. Was replacing my current silver markers and have to say, these are different from the previous ones. The color does not show up as dark as the old ones. Again, I'm using these on lids and crafts-maybe they are fine for paper but are lacking for my needs. Not as great as the previous markers. I was willing to spend the extra on sharpie name brand but will go store brand in future since they are no longer as good as the original

Not as good as previous markers

These are really pretty, especially on darker paper, they show up way better than regular markers. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they can run out waaaay quicker than expected if you use them a lot. But for crafts, labeling, or anything decorative, they're great. Smooth writing and nice shine.

It is our only choice but they don't make these like they used to. No amount of storing tip down or shaking would eliminate the streaking and create a consistent line.

Not as good as they once were

bought these to write on black paper, after the first 4 words the marker started to not show up. May possibly be good on different paper, but doesn't work on black.

for some completely unknown reason they got rid of the pocket clip on the cap so now anytime you set these down on a surface that is not completely level they will roll right off. if you put them on a completely level table and bump it they will roll right off. Using a mini RV or travel trailer forget about it you'll be looking for them underneath everything constantly. Wonder what moron decided to get rid of the pocket clip? At least there's off brands in silver that still offer the pocket clip as I will no longer be buying Sharpie brand.

They roll off of every surface.

These pins are garbage and are not worth your time. Straight out of the package and it will only draw for 10-15 secs and then starts to dry out. Starts out with a good solid line and quickly dwindles to nothing. I'm using it to line patterns on a canvas painting with heavy body acrylic paint that has been dry for a week.
