(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I'm usually a butter chicken gal but this Sherwood Tikka Masala sauce will be added to my list of faves. The sauce itself is not spicy and very mild. If you have any aversion to anything spicy, this sauce would work for you so don't be afraid to try it! I added red pepper flakes to mine since I like a bit of a kick and also added some chick peas for a lil extra fullness. 

What I also like about this brand is that it's nut free. The only other Indian sauce brand that is labeled as nut free is KFI. This means I can make it when my nieces and nephews come over without any fear of an allergic reaction. 

Though nothing will ever beat going to an authentic Indian restaurant for dinner, all in all, I'd definitely buy this sauce and recommend it to all Indian food lovers who want to try the dish at home.

Saucy Deliciousness

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Sadly, I forgot to take a picture or video of this beautifully crafted sauce on an even more lovely stir fry. I got this for free for testing purposes. And in exchange for my honest review. The Sharwood brand of Tikka Masala was quite good and it had an impeccable and delicious flavor. My husband could taste the spice to it, for me it was "light" but enough. I made a lovely chicken stir fry that this sauce complimented so nicely and I still have 3/4 of a jar. You really dont need much to get the flavor of the sauce. I wasnt sure what to expect but I was very pleasantly surprised.

Great taste!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Ok so I am not a fan of Masala I have discovered. Maybe I didn't follow directions right or maybe its my taste buds but I was not a fan. Though my daughter was a huge fan and loved it. So I believe it comes down to if you are a Masala fan or not for it to be for you.

Sauce by itself is bland as air.  Also has a bizarre texture.  However, if you add 1 TBSP of fresh minced garlic, ginger, one tsp of garam masala, 2 TBSP lemon juice, 1 TBSP of butter and 1/2 cup of tomato passata, you can dress it up to a very good sauce.  (If you have all these on hand)

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I love butter chicken and have wanted to try Tikka Masala for some time so I was excited when the opportunity to test Starwood's sauce arose. This product makes dinner so quick and easy, just brown some chicken and then simmer in the sauce-that's it!  Unfortunately, that's where the good stuff ends. I am not a fan of spicy food but this was even too bland for me!  I feel like maybe Sharwood's is trying to appeal to too broad of an audience. The wonderful spices and flavours associated with Indian food is lost, the flavour is very one note. My husband loves just about anything I put in front of him and even he did not enjoy this at all. I tried to like this quick and easy meal but sadly, I ended up throwing away the leftovers which was a waste of expensive chicken breasts.  We both agreed there was a strange taste left in our mouths. I realize that not everyone enjoys the same foods so if you are curious give it a try. Sadly, it just wasn't enjoyed by my family.

One note sauce

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Tried this product was not a big fan of how it tasted it was a bit to strong in a flavour that I didn't like.  I use it with chicken and noodles maybe that is why it didn't taste very good.  This is my first time using a product like this.
