We made this sauce with beef, peas, onions and cream. The flavor is good, and is perfect for someone who wants some kick to their sauce. It was a pit spicier than I anticipated, because store-bought sauces tend to over-estimate their spice level. I enjoy spicy foods, but this was a bit too hot for my liking. I still love that it is Nova Scotian made, minimal ingredients, and affordable. If you like spice, this is the sauce for you!

This ready-to-use vindaloo sauce base from Shivani's Kitchen is sweet and spicy. It was a bit too spicy for some of the family but if it's too spicy for your needs, you can add milk or cream to cut it down. I really appreciated how easy and delicious it made dinner.

Sweet and Spicy

This sauce was far too spicy for my liking.  It overwhelmed my palate to the point where I could not even enjoy or taste my food.  Would not buy again.

Too spicy!!!

I tried this based on the ingredients list and it being a cleaner brand but the flavour did not do it for me or the texture. Would be ideal for someone who doesn't enjoy making their own sauce from scratch

Great ingredient list not super taste

Shivani's Kitchen Vindaloo Sauce is spicy. Hot, hot, hot. I had to add some milk to calm it down. However that, it was a nice spicy, tangy balance. We used it on pork and that paired very nicely. Shivani's Kitchen is also Candian based!

Spicy Sauce

Love all of Shivani's products. Was a frequent buyer of her food prior to her make at home business. Well made Canadian and woman owned business. Delicious! This one is probably my favourite! Can't go wrong

Yummy in my tummy

I have tried Shivani's Kitchen Vindaloo Sauce as a base sauce for my pork Vindaloo. I have added coconut milk to give it the richness and creaminess. Overall I can definitely recommend it.

Delicious Vindaloo

Bold, authentic flavouring. Spicy, rich and perfect for a quick weeknight meal.

Not much else to say really. Decent product. Good with meat and veggies

Great taste

Shivani Vindaloo sauce base has great flavour. The flavour is a nice blend of heat and spicy. Nice flavour if you like some heat. Nice to blend in some coconut milk to lighten the heat.

This one is spicy but it's pretty good. Good flavour. Biggest complaint is the tiny bottle. Wish the portion was larger and in line with other bottled sauces
