It's not foam thank goodness I can't stand foam mattresses.  This one sleeps cooler, you can flip it and it hasn't gotten moldy spots like foam matteress do.

 WE LOVE THIS MATTRESS!
 I searched forever for a company that still makes and sells a flippable old school spring mattress, I hate every single memory foam and hybrid mattress that is made these days, they are all junk, you sink into them, they do not provide good support, and they wear out immediately. I fully miss my spring mattress from the 90's and
I WAS STOKED TO FIND THIS!
 I gave away a brand new sealy posturepedic from my guest room and purchased this one to replace it.  One of our adult daughters used it a few days this past week and she loves it. She was surprised  it is so bouncy and really very comfortable. I chilled out on it for a few hours too so I could determine if it would help my back at all, it is the perfect goldilox bed and it truly relieves all those pressure points I struggle with. My spouse also took a nap on it and found it very comfortable he is 240 lbs, and he didn't feel the bars of the base.
It arrived late, but not due to the sellers, they actually shipped it early, but as usual, FEDEX had numerous excuses for not delivering on time.
I reached out to the seller on 2 seperate occasions with basic questions and both times they responded quickly %26 nicely. I am 100% buying another for my adjustable bed. 
I don't understand why these went out of style, PLEASE DO NOT STOP MAKING THESE!!!!

It took me days to find an affordable mattress that was safe for air quality. Usually mattresses made without toxic foam or flame retardants are extremely expensive, but somehow I found this one and it's great. The instruction paper mentioned it might have a slight "newness" odor, but I couldn't smell anything at all, it smelled like nothing, just how I like it. 

It doesn't sink in for me, it feels pretty firm. I've only used it for around a week, and if it does sink in after using it longer, I will update this review. So far I'm very pleased with this purchase, even though I was apprehensive after reading some of the reviews.

clean air, great price

This mattress is absolute best for a bunk bed. It fits like a glove. No spaces between any sides. It literally filled the whole space. I got another mattress for the bottom bunk bed and it has gaps on all sides. I wish I would have bought this mattress for both top and bottom bunk bed.

Absolute best for bunk beds

This is unbelievably better than my last matress In box and is SUPER COMFORTABLE!!!  Comparable with my two other S brands mattresses for a fraction of the price!  Individually wrapped coils of us highest quality!  I've brought this for everyone in the family to replace older matresses because is is SOooo COZY!  I haven't had an ache or pain since buying this matress, and I'm asleep in a few minutes because it's that comfortable ands relaxing!  LOVE LOVE LOVE this mattress!!!  There's no matter matters out there, and the price is unbelievable!

I'm very much satisfied with the 2 sided mattresses so that I can get even ware.  I'm glad Walmart sold 2 sided mattresses for such Reasonable prices.

This walmart review site doesn't accept pictures taken with a cell phone. 
Mattress cover is not thick. Rolled and expanded out of a medium-sized box. encased springs and  insulation are zippered in mattress cover.  To help avoid breathing in fibers, I ordered a plastic zippered mattress protector.  And will order mattress padding for extra comfort.  Giving 4 stars for now. Mattress purchased for quest daybed.  For my personal everyday use, I would purchase more firmness and a completely sealed mattress.  This I will make as comfy as possible and give it a night's test.  Lesson learned: I'll be mindful next time.

I sweat my rear end off with memory foam mattresses, so I had to buy this, it's the right width, but about 6 inches too short... otherwise it's nice, %26 firm, has good support, AND won't make you all HOT from sleeping on it, so I like it, just wish it were a few inches longer, the ability to rotate it (front/back, %26 flip it over too), means it will last MUCH longer then one sided mattresses will. overall a good buy for the price.

Runs small...

The fact that this mattress can be flipped was the first attraction.  I thought it would have more padding or quilting,  but not so.  It was too firm for me.  I gave it to a family member that was going to purchase a new one anyway.  I also thought 8 inches would be a good change, but I'll stick with 12 inches.

Not what I hoped for.

I was excited about this mattress but upon receiving, the tag said it was manufactured 2 years ago. There was not an initial smell but over time and with movement, it started to smell very strongly! And I could not air it out enough to make the smell go away. I would not consider this firm. It would not stand up on it's side at all. Was difficult to move around. Maybe I got a dud but I cannot recommend this mattress :-(
