I did! My newly designed small kitchen design didn't have room for garbage and recycling and this butterfly unit was perfect. It's hidden in the corner. Easy open with your feet. It's quite close and love the butterfly top open design which minimizes the height of the opened lid. I bought the Simplehuman correct sized bags and they are worth it!!! Love the newest and hard working appliance in my kitchen.

Built like a tank

We have had the Simple Human butterfly trash can for 23 years & have had so many compliments & inquiries from guests who have used it . After many moves over the years, our can has gained a few scratches but still gets compliments. We decided to purchase another Simple Human butterfly can & couldn't be more pleased with the new updated can! The slow close is great ! The old can is still in use in a less prominent room because it still works & looks great! We wish we could purchase more things that get so much use & lasts that long. We don't have to recommend this trash can to anyone — it recommends itself!

Love our 45L butterfly trash can!!!

This garbage can manages to incorporate being sleek, stylish, and functional all in one slim design. I love that it has the recycler inside, which makes my life so much easier and keeps my kitchen counter cleaner as well. The butterfly lid is so quiet. I should have bought this garbage can years ago.

Sleek, Stylish, and Functional

It is the perfect size for us. I don't cook much, so I prefer a small garbage can so I can pull the bag out every other day. The size is perfect for the recycling too. I had your smaller butterfly can before, I tried to order another one but you discontinued it. I'm glad you gave me this choice, it's even better!

Love it!

Very happy with our new dual compartment butterfly step can. I was afraid the trash compartment would not be big enough, but it more than adequately holds all our garbage. The recycle bin is so convenient. I have not always been happy with Simple Human purchases but this one proved to be a great purchase

New Trashcan

Love the butterfly lid - silent, effective, low height profile when open which means lid doesn't hit anything when open (bins kept under standard height worksurface).
Looks good, easy to clean the outside. Whilst heavy for its size that means it is stable and doesn't move as a lighter weight bin did. Deceptive as holds more waste than I expected for the size. (Downgraded from a larger Simplehuman bin which, after 20+ years looks as good as new & has been passed on to my son!)
Narrow width means I can keep the matching 18L bin alongside which I use for recycling. Like the way the liner tucks over the top of the inner bucket which in turn can be emptied without having to be lifted out entirely
These bins are expensive compared to others but they retain their looks, last a long time and look good doing an essential job.

We are downsizing into a retirement apartment and still wanted to recycle.  This bin is perfect to safe space and facilitate our project.

Butterfly recycle bin

Great trash can. Fits my kitchen perfectly, and I like that the bag is hidden when it's closed. My one complaint is that it needs a holder on the back to hold the packs of trash bags. Seems like it would be fairly easy to have something magnetic to attach to the side or back or something that hooks into the handle on the back.

Almost perfect

Very disappointed, especially since I have another larger sample you can that works very well. This one doesn't allow you to put in more than two or three bottles with jars before you can't close it and when you try to take it out, you need help because the bag went full does not easily come out of the container, so you need someone to hold the container for you while you pull the bag out with the other hand the paper part of it is OK but the other half that I use the bottles and plastic does not work at all. I could treat her I would return this if imagine getting this object to return facility. In addition, these D bags don't really fit. They are too small.
