Great mirror. You can REALLY see yourself and any potential flaws in your skin. I think I like it - it magnifies 5 times - but it does give me pause every once in awhile. That it's now hard wired is so convenient and always ready to shine for me.

IMPRESSIVE

I got this a week ago and I just love it!
You can see everything that you would normally not see in regular lighting. 
I've gotten other magnifying mirrors before and nothing compares to this one. You won't be disappointed!
It took about an hour to install.

I am disappointed with this mirror. I was willing to pay more because of my trust in the Simple Human brand-they have always provided a superior product. I knew I didn't want to use the automatic function but read that I could merely use the on and off switch instead. It turns out that either way(automatic or manual) results in the mirror flickering and turning itself off sporadically. Major disappointment and frustration. Also, I thought the on and off switch would be of a much better quality than it is.

Just OK Mirror

I ordered one of these in 2021 and love it – it's rechargeable, but not wired. I was disappointed to see this one, and a brass finish, is wired and will require hiring an electrician.

Requires electrical work

This was purchased as gift to replace the previous swing arm sensor mirror from simple human. But my previous one did NOT need to be hardwired. It was a plug in. I can appreciate the benefit but not everyone's situation is equipped to simply hard wire this in. The previous plug in alternative was much more of a convenience. Wish you still offered that product in addition to the hard wire option. That way someone can determine which product is best suited for their circumstance.

No hard wire alternative anymore!?

Sadly can't be installed onto a tiled wall so not suitable for the bathroom I bought it for. I think it might be worth making clear to buyers that it cannot be installed into a tiled walls as most bathrooms would probably have the same issue.
