He has large, heavy books, so we needed a bookcase that could support the weight and offer enough shelf depth, and this was the perfect choice! The best part is how easy it was to assemble, it took about an hour, if not less. The russet brown color is beautiful and rich, and this piece alone has significantly improved the aesthetic of my fiancé's office!

The backing material is made of what I assume is pressed or processed wood, however it is not flimsy and the finish matches the overall color and texture of the primary wood. Assembly was easy using the supplied tools and took about 30 minutes . Although I didn't need to use the extra hardware, it was nice to have that provided. The instructions are well written in English. All parts are well labeled and the outer pieces show which side is to face the front. I am happy with this bookcase and it will fit well with my other, larger bookcase.

Excellent quality

The bookcase came well packaged and protected.  The materials, fit, and finish were all above par and the assembly was straightforward.  The final result was very sturdy and should last many decades.

Beautiful bookcase(s).  I bought two.

Would have been 5 stars except one of the back screw locations was too close the inside. It split the wood out on the inside side piece. I had to take it back apart to repair it!

Serves our purpose and looks nice!

Great bookshelf. Measurements are for the very top part, which has an overhang. Sturdy and easy to put together. Not sure where it is made or what country it is a product of.

The manufacturing quality is very problematic. One of the boards did not have the right holes drilled for assemble, contacted customer service and they didn't have replacement in stock. I ended up drilled 6 holes myself, well, the drilling part was okay, but to measure and align the right positions to drill these holes wasn't easy, it took me quite some time. The customer service was okay, at least they responded timely. and offered a "whopping" $30 compensation for all the trouble I went through, I'd say it's better than nothing, but definitely not worth it. Another option was to return it, I didn't do return, it's too much of a hassle to return such a large and bulky furniture. People say you got what you paid for, but this bookcase wasn't cheap...
