Can be quiet, but also produces noticeable sounds when in use.

There were a few upgrades for these tabletop ice makers.
Pros:
1. self-cleaning - new
2. size- fits better on my shelf.  Maybe 3" less deep. Less bulky allowing me to handle it much easier. Any reduction in bulk or weight is positive.
The additional handle was a big plus for this old woman! Maker's interior seems to be same size or just as easily managed as previous brands/models.
3. Simpler control panel. Ice size options is for Large cubes only.
4. Of the 4 different brands I've had, this is much, much quieter. That was very annoying with the others. 
5. Drain plug- location and ease of use - I easily rinsed and drained my new machine.
6. Basket design is easily manipulated. Comes with an Ice scoop.
7. THE HANDLE so much easier to transport.  
Cons: 
1.It does not refill it's
 water reservior itself.
2.I does not put the ice into an icebucket for me.
I'm just being silly on these Cons.
I have NO CONS.
I am thoroughly satisfied with this product. The price is nice!
I've used this machine for two weeks plus.
I will update this review if there are significant changes.

Make 9 pieces about every 8 minutes. That's plenty enough for my wife. She loves the crunchy ice she can chew. We use the jugs of water you see in the photo to refill it. If the ice melts it just drains into the holding reservoir for reuse. It includes the basket and the small scoop. There is an optical sensor you'll see near the upper left corner of the basket which lets it know when the basket is full, with an ice full indicator on top. It also has an add water indicator on top when it's time to refill. After adding water when the indicator is lit, there is a slight delay before it realizes water has been added. You can easily get around that by switching the power button off and back on.

My wife loves it and it was inexpensive

This Simzlife Countertop Ice Maker worked great right out of the box ! No more waiting for ice from my freezer … it only takes a few minutes to make ice and the basket is full in no time ! I'm very happy I purchased this item . You will love it !!!

Simzlife Countertop Ice Maker

My husband was skeptical when I brought the ice maker home but it really does a great job! Within minutes, it started making ice and before the end of the evening our ice bucket was full!! When you first plug it in and start it, it makes small pieces of ice but once it gets going, they get bigger. The pic is the biggest they have gotten but I'm telling you, it makes the ice!! Very pleased and my husband is amazed and said I made a good purchase lol

I love this! I have limited counter space but this doesn't take much. I wiped it down put water in and plugged it in turned it and 10 min later had ice! Don't over fill as I did it won't work. I empty the basket when full and have stored ice in my freezer!

I recommend this it's wonderful!

By the time the ice machine is only halfway low on water it stops making ice. I have to keep adding water. My old ice machine was almost completely empty before I needed to add more water. This one I'm constantly adding water to because it stops halfway through the process. Very frustrating.

SLIMZLIFE ice machine

The Simzlife 26lbs Ice Maker is great for someone only wanting to make a small amount of ice.  It took approximately 15 mins to make 9 bullet ice pieces and over 2 hrs to make the ice in the 2 (32 oz) cups included in my pics. It was very easy to use.  Add water under the ice tray, and the machine scoops/pushes the ice in the tray as it makes it.  
Cons: I had to keep moving the ice away from the rim of the holder. Any ice there blocks the flap from going back in place and it doesn't make any more ice until the flap goes back.  Also, the machine doesn't keep the ice cold enough.  By the time most of the water was used, the ice had started to melt back into the water bin.  I thought the machine made enough ice to fill the entire front water/ice bin.  It has split the space for both uses.  The fan is a little noisy and blows a lot of heat out.  According to the instructions, it also works best in a 50 degrees environment.  My house is 70 degrees.  I had wanted to use this item at my pool.  I don't think it will work in that hot of an environment. 
If you want to use this in an office environment or on your kitchen counter where the sun doesn't shine on that spot, and you only need a small amount of ice at a time, then this is a good product. This product is best used for an individual use and not a family or party used.  It doesn't produce enough ice for that.   I require a larger product, so I will be returning this item

Ice tray to small

This is the second ice machine that I bought the first one worked great the new one however, does not work well the buttons are sticking. The only one I can use is the large cube ice comes out and clumps in the basket does not fit in there also if there's no cleaning button not happy at all.

Broken bittons

had it since April of 2025 it is now January 2026. Worked fine up until a couple months ago, it's been freezing into a huge block instead of nuggets. haven't been able to use it since so, if you're looking for a long term ice maker I'd look other places.

Read before you buy

i purchased this item at the end of july, i treated and cleaned the machine as needed. The past few weeks, the ice began to have an unusual taste and the machine started having black build up, that got worse and worse including in the internal tubing. i explained this to simzlife and they just gave me instructions on how to clean the machine. I simply replied that I wont be using the machine anymore but I will leave a review. I used the machine for maybe 4 months. i would not recommend any low end ice machines. i had a similar problem with another one. ill just take this as a loss and a lesson learned.
